So his entire rookie and a good stretch of LAST season gets disregarded for the 5 games that he's played here.

Good to know.

And no lol.... 5 games are NOT a lot.

Fak me.... we have people here who defended Bargs for over 400 games and you're whining about a guy not playing up to par for 5??

Ok, this explains a hell of a lot. I was wondering why when he shot the ball it appeared that his hand was almost like in a semi fist. I brought it up a couple weeks ago. I hope that when he comes back this is fixed and he can contribute.

Yep, 5 games and almost everyone here wrote him off as "a piece of shit scrub", which blows my mind considering everything he did in college and his rookie year. So in a few weeks we'll see what LF is made of and how he can live up to a 6 mil contract.

He didn't impress me at all last year either.... so much more than 5 games. His rookie season, he looked good early when Amare was in MVP mode. Dude was carrying that squad and Landry was one of many guys that was along for the ride.

Ahh the good old rookie season stats. Just like the infamous "13 game stretch". If you are truly deserving of a starting role, you wouldn't have 5 straight games of 0 production in a row. Colangelo is too afraid to admit his mistakes thats why the guy will continue to be forcefed minutes.

Is he even better than Dominic Mcguire? What about Alan Anderson? The only upside about his contract is that it he'll expire in 3 years.

The guy plain and simple doesn't deserve any minutes other than garbage time perhaps.

He played terribly because his hand was literally crimping into a ball with any major movement. I don't know if you guys have played basketball before, but you tend to use your hands.

If it hurt so bad, why didn't he sit out those 5 games or even the preseason? This injury is probably recurring from last year. If that is truly the case, then the Raptors should be looking from all angles at possibly voiding his contract.

Watch the video above and find out "if it hurt so bad". Smh

And if it was a lingering injury from last season, why was he shooting 46% from the field last season?

I shake my head to fk24, seriously, LF didn't JUST produce his rookie year, it was college as well. He had an up/down season last year adjusting to both Amare and Melo - 2 players who can't even compliment each other. Seems you would prefer to disregard the true medical issue to keep hating. Personally I want the Raps to succeed and if LF can return to form from his nerve issue in his elbow and contribute, then all you haters who like to hate can stfu.

Like it or not, the team is better off without Landry Fields playing.

Excuses, excuses, excuses, he played well in college. So did Adam Morrison. He had a decent rookie year. So did many other players. Did he win ROY? Is he a top tier young prospect exactly?

Go look at how the Knicks are doing without Landry Fields right about now. Sure, blame it all on Melo.

This medical thing is just another excuse for his 2 PER. With or without injury he is still a shitty player. I've seen him in New York last year.

And the Raps are more likely to suceed without this guy playing any minutes. That should matter a lot to you.

Any team will play better if one of their starters were hurt and you sit him to get better. Duh.

So did JJ Redick who didn't exactly light it up right away - patience, what a fucking virtue eh?

Ah yes, because LF is a franchise player and catalyst for that team.

Yes, this stupid medical thing and surgery, complete and utter bullshit, a total ruse to throw trolls like yourself a bone.

I believe the Raps will succeed WITH LF and yes, that matters to me.

It's good to hear that LF was facing an injury so that contributed to making him look so bad.

However, at the same time - he's a SG, not a SF. Ross and DD are also SGs. LKZ is our only true SF (and even then some would argue he's better as an undersized PF). McGuire is ok but for spot defensive duty minutes. AA is a journeyman who does well when you consider his salary, but isn't a true SF either.

I'm behind you on that summation and have been blasted about it, LF is a SG and will have trouble at the SF spot if he stays there.
