well at least the team is representing the diverse population of Toronto but who knows if that translates to wins

it doesn't matter what country a player comes from, as long as they play well, I could care less

Dirk, Pau, Parker are all stars
Ginobili and Scola are very good
Turk was the best player for the Magic in the playoffs
Nash is a 2 time MVP
and the list goes on

This is what I was dreaming of and it is a right step for the franchise too. Raptors will become an international team with fans in many countries.

According to Ric Bucher the international flavor was the key to Hedo coming here, and not the extra dough which he says was minimal.

^^ like kahlspirit said, there's no SG on our team from argentina because delfino (carlos) has to be renounced if turkoglu is signed

you can sign and trade renounced players, as odd as it may seem, so it depends what happens between now and july 7th. more likely that he would be signed and traded if anything.

well in that case the Argentinian still wouldn't be on the team, unless its like a sign and trade that gets us ginobili?!
at this point i think everything we do to the team will be sign and trade, hopefully some sign and trade also including some of our existing players to get something better
marion, AP, delfino, pops, joey can be used in sign and trade
POB, hump, douby, ukic, jawai can also be bundled in these potential sign and trades
although i think only POB and hump will garner any interest in sign and trade bundles
