Raptors sign Valanciunas to a rookie contract

I heard on SN that it was two years. Isn't it usually a longer deal?

Prolly not including 2 additional team option years.

Yep. All rookie deals are identical - 2 guaranteed years, 2 team option years that have to be picked up before the previous season starts, and then restricted free agency.

yup. he has two years to show that he's a top 5 center in the nba, or at least worthy of the 2nd overall pick in this years draft!
