Great pick. Now if the Raptors get another pick and get Lance Stephenson then BC read my mind 100% in this draft. lol

i'm very happy with this pick. i didn't even consider him being available when we drafted. probably won't go down as the steal of the draft, but it's definitely the best pick thus far. with both Bosh and amir questionable, we were lucky to have both patterson and davis there for our selection. i think this is the happiest i've been with a pick since bosh.

The word I got from someone who I trust when I asked whether Davis was picked to be traded was:

"He's not going anywhere."

The interesting thing is the Raptors did not have him in for a workout; they asked but he thought he'd be gone by No. 13 and didn't accept the invitation. Toronto did interview him and see him work out at the Chicago pre-draft camp.

If Bosh resigns, I expect him to be traded along in some kind of package

Great value at pick #13 if he is there.
Give it a few years and people will change their minds on this pick. Davis has loads of talent and to get him at #13 is a steal.

Good pick. He will help on the boards, he averaged just a shade under 10 rebounds a game. He needs to polish his post game though.

He's good insurance for Chris Bosh leaving. Not a superstar, but he's a player. He can rebound and block shots. Good guy to bring off the bench.

Lots of talent and potential. Could of came out last year as a freshman and been a top 10 pick. Went back to UNC and people thought he would be a top 3 pick in this draft. Injuries this year ended his season early. Very value at #13.

Yeah Randolph is a solid player, Maybe package Andrea in a deal for him, Randolph will get after it more than Andrea

Did Davis fuck up in his workouts or something? Why did he fall so far?

Dave McMenamin: Terry Davis looks like he is fuming mad right now. Don't know if that's his default face or what, but he doesn't seem happy about Ed in TOR 8 minutes ago.
