He has the tools to play and please in Casey's system and he's much more skilled that a majority of the players on this team. He's only 24.
Not because of him, its the Raptors curse, we get players who were good and the come here and suck. Prime example Turkapo. Also he's going to be out of shape coming from china.

Turkoglu sucks anywhere... Chandler on the other hand can play.
(one is physically lazy and unfit, the other is willing and is still young)

Wilson Chandler likely to have longer stay in China. Playoffs start Feb. 22 or so. If team reaches China finals, could go until late March.

If Chandler doesn't sign with an NBA team this year, I think he would still be a RFA since his time spent in China won't count as an "NBA season". As such, the Nuggets would still hold his rights.

Batum is the game changer that we could use.... wilson is good, but not good enough to make us awesome.

is there something I'm missing here? How is Batum in any way a game changer?
I don't see how he is more than Wilson Chandler is.

He just has more of an effect on the game than Chandler. Almost like comparing Lebron to say Durant. Of course the talent level in those two is immensely higher but lebron attacks all aspects of the game while Durant doesn't as much.

You're not missing anything... I just feel that we haven't seen Batum's ceiling and I think we have Wilson's. I think both are very good players but I see Batum having a much higher side that we haven't seen yet... he's super athletic, super long, can light it up from deep..... as far as measurements go, I don't know, but watching them I can see Batum is bigger and longer and while Wilson is good, I much prefer a guy who is as good but likely will be much better. All opinion.

Thinking of having any big chance at getting him. Must've been slim-none.

Wilson Chandler is set to return from the United State from China next week.

Chandler, a restricted free agent, intends to re-sign with the Nuggets upon his return after averaging 12.5 points and 5.0 rebounds in 21 games with Denver last season.

He is reportedly weighing whether to sign a one-year deal* that would make him an unrestricted free agent in July or sign a long-term deal with Denver immediately.

This is horseshit because their playoffs haven't even began yet. That's only gonna happen if their team is eliminated in the first round.

It tricked me too.
