Default THE RAPTORS PROBLEM.

They don't make enough baskets.

Coach Mitchell, puts them out on the floor and they don't make any shots. I don't like all this talk about a new coach. He can't make the ball go in the basket. He makes them do his play and they can't score. Is he supposed to make it easier for them. Also I think he is a good defense coach. Other teams don't get many dunks, he makes them shoot the ball, and there is a better chance of them missing that even if they are wide open.

I think the Raptors would win more if they scored more points than the other team.

Sam?? A NEW COACH? he has been on the Raptors bench Since 2004! though he can't score, he sure needs to be able to get the players he is entrusted to play at their highest level possible. something he seems to have not been able to do for at least one full season. An excellent point on scoring more than the other team! we would win every game if that could happen. AS for Sam being able to teach defensive strategy, it seems to be let's hope the other team is stone cold because you guys should be able to just stand around and wait for turnovers and rebounds. Right now, the Raptors are 21st overall in points per game at 94.4 and are 16th in points allowed per game at 96 points a game. i think that strategy needs to be re-defined a bit for the Raptors!

Cool raptorsbestfan

I just re-read what you wrote, sorry about the new coach thing, but we do need a coach who can motivate these guys who look asleep most nights, even when they are winning.

Brilliant! That is so true. I bet this theory would translate into victory 100% of the time!

Yes good point, i think another thing that would help them win is if the opposing team finished with less points then the raptors. It would put us in a good position to win.

Had it ever occurred to you that the Raptors would also win more games if the other team scored LESS points than them?

See, the knife cuts both ways.

Edit:

I see now that Wiseguy beat me to this one.
You win this round, Wiseguy! But I'll be back!

This all comes back to the coach... he should've trained the team harder for this situation.

i believe he is.

However, if not, i think i have found another potential problem. Perhaps RAPTORSBESTFAN is just not cheering loud enough when he is watching the games. Maybe he is not living up to his claim as the best fan. surely if he cheered harder then the team would make more shots and win more. I'm pinning this recent slide on him.

Impossible, I cheer louder than anyone. I am the Raptors Best Fan. It says so in my name.

How would you like it if I said you were not fancy enough, and since you have lost some fancyness, the fancy ratio in Toronto has fallen to below the fancyness of Wicthitaw Kansas.

I cheer louder than everyone. What is the difference between me saying, we have to score more points than the other team and coach saying "we didn't hit shots".

I will be at the game on Sunday. That makes 2 games this year already. My seats will be closer and I hope to meet players this time.

It looks like the difference is that when Sam says it he has the reason because he has played and yadda yadda yadda and when a fan says it it's just a captain obvious.

Shots not falling can be the coach's fault IF the shots aren't open shots IMO.
