Lightbulb Raptors Open to Making Deals

Intresting

Quote:
Toronto general manager Bryan Colangelo is still fielding trade offers while interim coach Jay Triano establishes himself.

"This is a constantly evolving game, and we're going to try improve the roster as we move forward," Colangelo said. "We're going to continue to have the same kind of trade talks I would have if we were 15-10 right now.

"Jay and I will have a better chance to sit down and talk over the course of several days. You don't want to make any quick judgments, quick movements. We'll see what evolves."

Willing to trade: JK/AP/Moon/Hump/Graham/Solo-man

If a deal blows him away that includes Bargnani BC may look at it, but i doubt he'd pull the trigger on that deal.

As for what we could get in return for those above mentioned players? Probably not alot, but we need depth at the 2or3 and a back up PG.

Possible teams to deal with:

Clippers (4-16)
Minnesota (4-15)
GSW (5-15)
Sac (5-15)
Memphis (5-15)

These teams are so bad that they might be willing to part with one of there few good players to make a change by getting an expiring contract (ie:AP) in return.

Better teams(record wise) to possibly deal with:

-Portland (They can't re-sign every good young player they have)
-Phoenix (Kinda struggling this season, but don't see why they'd want any of our scrubs)

I'd love to have one of Portlands young stars. They have a lot like you mentioned and there is no way all of them can PT there.

Honestly - he needs to have an open mind about trading anyone on this roster. But does he have a real idea of what he wants to accomplish in terms of building a complete roster? That's the most important thing he needs to establish in my mind right now.

How bout getting Raymond Felton as our backup pg? I believe he's unwanted/unneeded in Charlotte with DJ Augustin being there and I don't think we'd have to sell the farm to get him. Don't know if he wld take a backup role tho
