Default Raptors' Mitchell turns table on reporter

Oh shit ... this is some priceless stuff from Smitch. I think this is why I like him so much. Read the quote below and then click the link to see the video clip.

When the reporter resonds that he would hold a 'light practice' Mitchell responds with: "If you think you're going to do that, you ain't old school, you dumb school."

I enjoy the fact that he's kinda chummy with the Toronto journalists. They genuinely like him and he likes them.

Smitch is becoming quite the character. I can easily see him being one of the most liked coaches in the NBA when he gets older, like when he's a 20 year coaching vet.

His celebration after we beat Boston was utterly priceless; that kind of elation sticks in the minds of players. 'He was that happy?!?!?'

I still find him extremely abrasive sometimes when reporters ask him questions, but more and more he's picking his spots and debunking the stupid questions.

Plus he has that fantastic to imitate accent. I remember listening to 102.1 The Edge last year in the playoffs and they were talking about watching a playoff victory then watching the post game conference (I was so surprised they were that interested, since generally they're just Hockey Pucks on that channel). Anyways, they did this great impression of Mitchell that I never forget, it was something like:

(102.1 the edge guy impersonating people):

-Reporter: Sam, how did you get the win?
-Sam: I'm tellin' ya baby! We just ran some plays! Hey baby why don't you come to my place later?

Ask a stupid question - get a stupid answer.
