D'Antoni could actually attract some name players to Toronto (like Nash).

Please no D'antoni! I want a defensive minded coach for once.

If there are no proven coaches out there, then hire an assistant from another team like Tom Thibs was hired with Bulls.

i agree. Bargnani can create for him self adequetly, but is best playing off another player. he is a deadly shooter and this year proven to be good off the dribble. with another player drawing attention away from bargs, he can be a very good scorer.

Deadly shooter? Have you seen his shooting percentages this season. Deadly is an exggeration. With the amount of shots he gets he's pretty inefficient.

it wouldnt actually be that hard to trade bargnani. if we managed to trade turkoglu then we can trade bargnani.

yea i do agree this season has been a letdown in terms of shooting. but keep in mind half his shots are contested and thats because teams focus on him on offence. if there was someone here to open things up for him(ala Bosh last season) then yes he can be quite efficient. he is not too skilled at creating for himself, thats why hes somewhat inefficiant. but i mean, any first option will be somewhat inefficiant. its not like kobe's shooting 60 percent

Ask yourself if Indiana would trade Hibbert for Bargnani.

i dunno. with the moves they've made over the last couple of years, Bargnani wouldn't look too out of place on the pacers...

i'm sure there are struggling teams that would want an upgrade at C whether it be starting or off the bench as a 6th man. he can score but that is about it.

if we get that shitty coach. BC is definitely, without a doubt, a shit GM

I still contend he needs a "big brother" like Dwight to do all the dirty work and not complain about it.

He would be an upgrade, but I agree he's not what we need.

I'm pretty sure this article is bogus and is just made up without any real sources because the story sounds too perfect. BC hiring D'antoni because he's Italian, used to work for him, have a team kind of built to run a fast break and a team that plays no defence. I'm pretty sure BC isn't as dumb as you guys say he is, I really think he wants to preach defence in the next few years during this rebuilding process. Hence the aquisitions of Bayless, who's a pretty good defender at times, and James Johnson, by far our best defender.

They are in love with Hibbert and his constant work ethic. Won't happen. He might be a top 5 center in the league soon enough.

You're comparing a 33yr old SG to a 25yr old 7 footer, that should tell you all you need to know.
