You really think Jose can bring in Granger and a Pick?

Howabouts Lowry & Bargs for Jennings & Ilyasova? He can play the 3. Plus it gives the Bucks control over their pg for another year, and its no secret that Jennings loves DD and T.O.

You guys are absolutely god damn ridiculous

A month ago, everyone was bowing down to Lowry and willing to give him the max. Now after an injury and some mediocre play, you want to trade him over Jose F'ING Calderon??!?!

I find it pretty interesting that everyone is so down on Granger when he's proven more than Lowry and Calderon combined in terms of being a top talent. Sure he's had his issues with injury, but so has lowry.

If we could get a healthy Granger we'd be a much better team. I'd rather ship out Bargs, should they want him, rather than our pg's though.

On another note, I don't think Rudy Gay's value has ever been lower, so maybe we can pry him away. Unlikely, but I can dream.

Gay's value is no lower than it was last season (18ppg/6rpg). And the team is killing it this season. They're not trading him the way they are going.

Ah, thanks Jeff. Good eye.

I agree, Calderon is not a very enticing trade piece for most teams. That doesn't mean we automatically have to trade our 26 year old point guard who we KNOW has the ability to play like an all-star for the next 4-6 years.

Bargnani/Calderon and another player should be plenty to fetch a SF. A guy who is going to score 15-20 ppg, and rebound the ball and defend. Doesn't have to be a big time SF.

Agreed, Granger has proven way more than Lowry has.... we'd be lucky if we could pull that off in a one for one.

Still no SF, and we become weaker at the PG position. No thanks, even though i really like Ilyasova.

Then trade Lowry and Kleiza for Granger

The team then looks like,

Jennings
DeRozan
Granger
Ilyasova
Valanciunas

Not bad when healthy.

We don't know that... Lowry playing like an all star for the next 4-6 years is a dream.. but he's extremely injury prone. He's spent more games out/recovering from injury than he has actually been healthy for us, and this isn't a one-off thing. Injuries has plagued him ever since he's entered the league. We trade Jose, and we could be looking at long stretches of shitty PGs for the next 4-6 years.

Rental means expiring does it not???? An expiring contract could be worth more than Calderon the player. Plenty of teams would want Jose, just not a lot of teams can give us something real great. Nonetheless, an expiring contract is huge for a team shedding it's salary obviously.

Could not agree more. And if we can get George instead of Granger, pretty much just as happy, but its going to be difficult to get him at his salary.
