Lightbulb Raptors and Kings have not discussed a trade involving Turk

From Doug Smith's blog:

Quote:
You cannot imagine the number of immediate e-mails I had yesterday asking what impact the Sixers-Sacramento trade (Sam Dalembert for Andres Nocioni and Spencer Hawes) would have on Hedo Turkoglu and the Kings.

Well, impeccable sources, people I trust and who have never, ever steered me wrong, tell me it has no impact.

And that’s because the Raptors and Kings have not had a single discussion about a possible Turkoglu trade and there are no indications they ever will.

A couple of people have intimated to me that there some interest out there in Turk (“a handful of teams,” according one person who’d know) but that the King are not one of them.

I have no idea what those teams are – sources are loathe to give too many details lest it scare off potential suitors – but I’m pretty sure someone will eventually whisper a team name or two and then the fun can begin.

But as for the Kings?

They aren’t in play right now.

Maybe Portland. He would be a very good fit there. They need another person to handler the ball Miller is a strong PG that likes to play off the ball. Hedo would allow Miller to get position. Once he does, Turk will just dish it in for a easy 2.

Thank God.. I didn't see any Kings-Raps deal happening that would be beneficial at all. Not to mention that Hedo has no right to dictate his fate at this point, he needs to go where BC trades him and like it.

I wish we could deal him to memphis or a team like Minnesota. I'd laugh my nuts off if he ends up in Minnesota.

what a suprise, a rebuilding franchise thats losing money has no interest in hedo.
My guess for the handfull of teams would be philly, orlando, washington, and possible NO and GS. Why? because these are the teams with contracts on par with or worse than hedo's to dump back on the raps

just maybe detroit too because they could use a point forward with all the undersized ball hogs on that team and have some burdening contracts to offer as well.
