![]() Great article. I like Jarrett Jack hes nothing like TJ. Jack understands his role which is to back up Jose and get some burn at the 2 spot. However, I like many, have said his d is not that great. I even think Jose plays d just as good so we get no up grade there when Jack plays the 1. So overall we are weak at 1 spot even when the second unit plays. As much as I like Jack hes not as good as I thought, hes alot better then what we had last year though. I always thought that Jack was good at driving to the basket , I think that is his strength, however, we have not seen that yet or on a consistant basis.Hes a very weak shooter and not a 3 point shooter. I think we are asking Jack to do something hes not very good at, hence maybe thats why he has played like shit this year. Jack will need more time, hes a work in progress this year on our team.

![]() This is what everyone expected - him to play tough as nails D and be a solid floor general. No one really expects the guy to score. He had a career year scoring last year, something I'm not sure he'll ever match again.

![]() He doesn't play good D? You sure you're not confusing him with Jack Armstrong? Check the years in Portland and Indy. He plays pretty darn good D..and has/had a shot to keep defenses honest, plus could drive the lane.

![]() Jack is only making 5 million per year. He is signed a 20 million contract over 4years. Its a contract fit for a good back-up point guard. If RAP fans want to complain about a player who deserves their big contract, ask about a player who doesn't bring it every game (Andrea Bargnani). He makes 10 million per year over 5 years.

![]() Preseason and first games he was praised for talking on defense a lot. Did he stop doing that?
I wish they make him full time backup behind Jose for 18 minutes at PG. We have plenty SG who need more minutes. |

![]() when jack's jumper starts falling he'll be well worth the money. Guy is tough, a warrior, zero tooth protection and he works hard too. He won't have a hard time living up to 5 mil a year
