``While CJ has already shown interest in going through the naturalization process, we will continue to evaluate him both on and off the court,'' said Eala.

``We want to make sure that whatever decision we reach will be for the best interest of the country, the SBP and all concerned,'' he added.

Giles, a former Los Angeles Lakers draftee in the NBA, has standing offers from Lebanon, Jordan and even reigning Fiba-Asia champion Iran to become a naturalized player for their respective teams.

Giles also has invitations from the Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic and Toronto Raptors in the NBA training camp, which will be held two months from now.

What's the problem, Gurk? There's no risk in it. If he performs well, he makes the team.

So we're measuring teh fact that he isn't a good player because he's only averaged 6 points per game for his career? I don't see what the big deal is if he gets invited to camp and he competes for a spot. What's the problem in all of that?

How many PPG did Jamario Moon average in his career before Toronto? Oh yeah, that's right, he couldn't even make the league. How many points did Parker average before the Raptors...In the NBA?

he's worth another look. i remember seeing this kid play last summer league i think it was. kid has some serious ups and shot blocking ability, very similar to camby physically. if he wasn't so damn skinny, he could probably help. damit, eat some chicken giles!
