Tyreke Evans Trade Rumors: Toronto Raptors Intrigued

Read More: 2012 nba trade rumors, Tyreke Evans (F - SAC), Toronto Raptors, Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings could shake up their young core this offseason to try and move them in the direction of being a playoff contender in the near future. Sacramento could end up shopping one or two of their younger players to try and obtain a veteran.

Tyreke Evans is the players who will be mentioned in trade rumors a lot this offseason. Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld has already reported the Toronto Raptors have inquired about Tyreke along with a host of other players in the NBA.

That being said, what could the Raptors offer that the Kings would want? Jose Calderon? Andrea Bargnani? DeMar DeRozan? None of these guys are worth Tyreke by themselves, and it's unlikely Toronto would gut their team to make this deal work.

The only way this might happen is if Sacramento could ask for one of those players and grab Toronto's draft picks. And then perhaps Sacramento could package their two top ten draft picks for an even better player. The possibilities are endless the further you go down the rabbit hole.

Talk about the thought of the Kings trading Tyreke to Toronto with Sacramento fans at Sactown Royalty. Raptors fans can hit up Raptors HQ for their thoughts on Evans in Canada.

If he's available, I would make a serious bid for Evans. I would trade DeRozan, our 1st overall, Ed Davis, and a future pick. If we can combine that with signing Nash as a free agent; that would be fun to watch. Nash, Evans, Bargs, Val.

i'd blow a gasket if we packaged our picked with any of those players for evans. i'd have to think long and hard about giving demar straight-up for him. bargs, not a chance.

Yup Evans has digressed & a change of scenary would be good for him...
But unless it's DeRozan & a 2nd I say no deal!

well, what vets do we even have? Demar isn't a vet, i doubt we'd trade Bargnani for evans......which leaves jose. Why would they give up Evans for an aging PG with an expiring contract who stinks on the defensive end. they could do better for Evans imo.

Why not orchastrate a 3 way deal that has us getting Evans, Sac getting Iguodala and Philly getting the #4 pick from Sac + other players in a package?

I dont see us trading for him, we dont need another guy that just chucks up shots, unless we trade DD

Yeah any deal involving Evans would need to be primarily Evans+fodder for DD for fodder. We cant have them on the same team.

Tyreke has so much potential if he were to work on his jumpshot and court awareness off the bounce. Some hard work and good coaching would turn him in to a top 20-25 player. Question will always be his work ethic though.

Tyreke? Um, hell no! He'll be a cancer to our team?

grass is always greener.

i'd rather the healthy player with good character and a strong work ethic. if demar works on his ball handling this off-season, i'd be our mistake trading him for someone else's problem.

People have been saying that since hes been drafted here, yet his ball-handling is still atrocious. I don't think DeMar will ever improve his ball-handling.
