doubt it

Amir is worth every single penny, but he is somewhat injury prone player who is not going to get much better, DD has time to grow and is already worth his contract. I would take DD over Amir if I had a choice in a trade

OK just stop it. Didn't you learn your lesson about hiring extremely expensive SF's ??
Just develop T-Ross, and call it a day.

While I'd love to develop TR - he's more of a SG than a SF and is undersized at SF. Also, DC prefers developing Salmons than TR.

Deng would bring veteran leadership ... he's not Rudy Gay.

I'm not proposing there is a way of getting him thru trades, but Deng is a veteran warrior and adds value to any team.

Voice of reason.
Even though Ross is definitely under-sized at the 3.

I say we draft ourselves the best looking athletic 3 we can in the draft.

And maybe lure in a bigger name in the FA (Greg Monroe's name keeps getting chucked around, so hey)

Jesus guys. DD is not a bad contract and trading him for an expiring Deng is laughably bad. Period.

And Deng doesn't want to leave chicago so there is that.

His injury issues worry me.... because with our luck we'd sign him to a fat contract only to have him tear his achilles. And there's no way that I'm giving away DD for that.

Pay attention. Nobody said trade for him while he's an expiring. They're talking about a S+T when free agency starts.

Why trade for him when we could just sign him in the summer? The winning culture attracts good players like a magnet from what I hear. Oh, what's that? We have no cap room? Players don't give a shit about a team being in the playoffs by default? Who woulda thunk?

The message under your name is outdated. You should want us to be like the Hawks, seeing as they have a very solid core, and two 1st round picks, one being the BRK pick.

We don't have that 1st round pick. And I'm referring to the Hawks of lore who were regular 1st round possibly victors and then guaranteed second round defeats.
