Judging from the quality picks the Nuggets have been making over the past few years, this would appear to be a very good move as well.

MU wasting no time!

This plus the addition of Jeff Weltman, that pretty much should do it for his staff hires it would appear since he said he wants a small executive team. Maybe a couple other scouts? Now we'll see who is hired onto the coaching staff.

That's an interesting point about having a small exec team, wonder if they will have an international scout and if the Raptors will continue to have that intertwined European connection like the team did before.

(Whether the Raptors currently have on or not, just curious if MU will be as focused to scour overseas as BC was)

Wasn't sure if he's still around...I think he is but last I heard he was threatening to quite....you think AB was BC's pet? MG has been the one pushing him long before BC drafted him and before he came over to work for MLSE. IMO, he should follow the scouts out the door.

we've had more g.ms than scouting directors, i'm exciting to see the differences of drafting in the long run and see if it makes a difference

ultimately MU makes the final decision but hell this is great start

big mistake by bc was carrying over most off the staff

Personally in the past 5 years I have been extremely happy with our draft picks and trading of picks

Demar DeRozan
Ed Davis
Jonas Valanciunas
Terrence Ross
Quincy Acy
Kyle Lowry

They are a pretty high character and great bunch
