David Aldridge is reporting that the Blazers have offered Roy Hibbert a max contact, which he is considering accepting. I'm wondering if this would tie them up in interim, and allow the Raps to swoop in a place an offer for Batum, should we clear space with the amnesty clause. Not personally that high on Batum, but scouring through posts here, it's evident many are.

Both Kirilenko and Illysova would be improvements to Kleiza and JJ. But they're not miles ahead of those guys, and would be a whole lot more expensive. Although, I'd be happy to see a guy like Kirilenko for the defensive intensity he brings, and versatile skill set. Illyasova has a great shot and appears to be improving, but our boy Kleiza had one of those years too, maybe we can still get some more out of him.

I hope this doesn't exceed past a rumour, because this would be awful if we add kirelenko as our starting sf, maybe backup.. But not as a starter. Turning the raps into a hockey team

This is the NBA, you can't have to many euro guys in the lineup, players would punk us, just picture Garnett an jose all over again.

NBA has him listed as a SF :S but im sure he could play both...plus he is a really good rebounder as well. I want neither of them if we could get Batum tho.
