Raptors Forum Mock Draft GM of the year

GM's of the RF I thought it would be interesting to look back at the draft (thanks Bill) and trades, and grade our skills based on performance of your rookies and traded players. You can find Mock draft here: http://www.raptorsforum.com/f/f6/rf-...3-a-25361.html

Kirby 12-05-2013 09:45 PM

pretty sure my team without Waiters would be better than 6-11 and better off without some fist fights in the locker room. :haha:

Kirby 12-05-2013 10:33 PM

well apparently Waiters has had beef with Irving and Thompson this season and rumors of fist fights broke through haha!

Gurk 12-05-2013 10:41 PM

You missed a trade:

The San Antonio Spurs(10gizzle) have traded Cory Joseph and the right the the 28th overall selection to Chicago Bulls(me) for the rights to the 20th overall selection.

yeah man, according to LOG. Congrats, seems you don't have a brain of your own to see what a disaster your shit is. :haha:

LOG 12-05-2013 11:24 PM

again I did not grade based on potential, I tried to be as accurate as possible based on performance right now. It would be great if you guys post your own grades, so we could compare :)

Looking at your shit you shouldn't say anything about anyone. But at usual you have to open your cake hole and talk shit like the ass you are.

I'm having fun hehe, look how worked up he is.

Looking back, I really like the Nate Wolters pick. Solid player.

woodchuck 12-06-2013 11:59 AM

We should do it at the end of the season, kind of a warmup for the next draft. It's way too early right now to have any opinion about many of these players. Many of them haven't played yet because of injuries, and I doubt all of us have seen even all the healthy ones.

I like the little I've seen from my early second rounders, though. Archie Goodwin is years away but clearly a talent. Canaan is in the D-League like the Rockets always do, but he's looking good.

Btw, Giannis (drafted by Duca at 14) looks like an A or A+ pick, not B-. He's raw but this is the type of talent you hope to get at the end of lottery.

Also, Adams (no.17) should probably be an A pick. Definitely not C-.

And I doubt that Pope at 13 will be an E- pick. He's already a very good defender and the big reason why the Pistons are playing much better since Billups went down. He might be bad in the context of being picked right before Giannis, though.

I grade players on performane not talent less confusion imo. This is just a template we can always comeback and update those grades

Oh, you mean to have this as a "lets keep this thread alive throughout the year and discuss what rookies do" thread. That could be fun.
