Really shitty schedule last year.
I told once here: if he won't be affected by injuries he'll be closer or higher than 23.5 ppg and about 7 rpg

Fair enough, I just think with the amount of injuries that occured last year, it's a pretty fair argument. Lots of elite players went down, and some for extended stretches. Just too many games compacted together.

Btw, if you happen to find a pic of Bargnani and Val together, post it! Is AB even in Town right now?

as did a lot of raptor fans, which certainly isnt surprising seeing as he played some of his best basketball for 13 or 21 games out of a shortened and injury plagued season.

Blake Griffin was top 10 last year (what a joke). He's 14 now. Still think he's overrated, but at least some realized it.

But hey, he can jump bent leg, over the front hood of a Kia...well, he and 85% of the NBA, NCAA, and 50% of the top US and Canadian HS players...so thats something no?

I understand LeBron and Durant, but after that, a healthy Kobe would have guys crying in the fetal position. And there's something to be said about the kind of guy who delights in breaking other guys' spirits. It's who he is and what he does.

Personally, my top goes like this:

1. LeBron
2. Durant
3. Dwight
4. Paul
5. Kobe

Kind of surprised Rose is top 5 and above Kobe tbh

if you're making a top players list some people go with MVP in their mind and some people go with like the concept of biggest contribution to the team. Don't get me wrong, bryant makes a big contribution to his team but i would have a few guys ahead of him in that regard. PGs are so important to their team winning and so are dominant big men.

i think my list for "biggest contribution" would be:

1.James
2.Paul
3.Howard
4.Durant
5.Rondo
6.Love

i'd have to think longer to keep going after that. I can see rose being ahead of bryant, i would say their contributions are fairly equal tho.

1. James
2. Durant
3. Howard
4. Paul
5. Rondo
6. Rose (when healthy)
7. D. Williams
8. Bryant

After that take your pick between Westbrook, Love, Wade, Nowitzki, J. Smith????

would be interested to see your list carp. Where would you have dirk?

i think dirk and griffin are an interesting comparison and then dirk and bryant are also interesting. Dirk and griffin have similar(ish) ppg but griffin gives you a lot more on rebs and a bit more on D. But then of course dirk can shoot from anywhere and is clutch. Imo dirk contributes more than griffin. But to use my method of listing players i would say dirk fits better into the "MVP" type category than the contributor category, like i claimed bryant does. Although of course they come under both definitions.

imo bryant is somewhere around 8-12th and dirk maybe 20th. How would you rate dirk alongside other top PFs like bosh, aldridge etc?
