So to summarized will it look like this

2014 – 3picks total
Round1 -(1pick)TOR own pick
Round2 - (2picks) TOR own pick if worst to MIL; OKC’s pick (from NYK); SAC’s pick if worst to MIL

2015 – 2picks total
Round1 – (1pick) TOR own pick
Round2 – (1pick) TOR own pick

2016 – 2picks total
Round1 – (2picks) TOR own pick; Worst of NYK or DEN
Round2 – TOR to MEM

2017 – 3picks total
Round1 – (1pick) TOR own pick
Round2 – (2picks) TOR own pick; NYK’s pick

Please make correction if something is wrong

That looks right to me. There are some irrelevant protections (such as SAC's pick to us being protected if they end up placing top 5 in the league), but what you listed is basically it.

Yep. Tax calculation is done with salaries on the payroll on the last day of the season. We could have a 100 M dollar payroll all year and it won't factor into the tax if we could shed enough salary at the trade deadline.

Default 2013-14 Salaries Update

Just catching up and making our roster salary current, moving into the part of the schedule where some trades are possible, even likely.

2013-14:

Rudy Gay $17,888,931 (2 years, PO in 2nd)
DeMar DeRozan $9,500,000 (4 years)
Amir Johnson $6,500,000 (2 years, 2nd $5M guar)
Landry Fields $6,250,000 (2 years)
Kyle Lowry $6,210,000 (1 year)
Steve Novak $3,750,000 (3 years)
Jonas Valanciunas $3,526,440 (3 years, TO in 3rd)
Tyler Hansbrough $3,183,000 (2 years, 2nd $1M guar)
Aaron Gray $2,690,875 (1 year)
Terrence Ross $2,678,640 (3 years, TO in 3rd)
Quentin Richardson $1,399,507 (3 years, 2nd and 3rd unguar)
DJ Augustin $1,267,000 (1 year)
Austin Daye $947,907 (2 years, 2nd unguar)
Julyan Stone $884,293 (2 years, 1st 100k guar, 2nd unguar)
Quincy Acy $788,872 (2 years, 2nd unguar; $884,293 for tax)
Dwight Buycks $700,000 (2 years, 2nd unguar; $884,293 for tax)

Marcus Camby Buyout $2,763,054 (0.647 M on next year's cap)

Team Cap Totals $70,928,519 (12.2 M above cap)
Team Tax Totals $71,208,233 (0.5 M below tax, 4.5 M below hard cap)

Cap: 58.679 M
Tax: 71.748 M
Apron/Hard Cap: 75.748 M

Q-Rich has been waived. Stone has been signed. Those are the only two updates.

-----------------------------------------

And next year's numbers:

2014-15:
Rudy Gay $19,317,326 PO
DeMar DeRozan $9,500,000
Amir Johnson $7,000,000 (5 M guar)
Landry Fields $6,250,000
Steve Novak $3,445,947
Jonas Valanciunas $3,678,360
Tyler Hansbrough $3,326,235 (1 M guaranteed until June 29th)
Terrence Ross $2,793,960
Austin Daye $1,063,384 (250k guaranteed until June 30th)
Julyan Stone $948,163 (unguaranteed until 7th July)
Quincy Acy $915,243 (unguaranteed until 25th July)
Dwight Buycks $816,482 (unguaranteed until 22nd July)
Marcus Camby $646,609 (buyout)

Kyle Lowry $9,315,000 (cap hold)
Aaron Gray $5,112,663 (cap hold)
DJ Augustin $1,512,000 (cap hold)

Above roster: $75,641,372 (around tax apron)
Let Gray and DJ walk, keep Lowry's rights: $69,016,709 (slightly below tax)
Let them all walk: $59,701,709 (around salary cap)
Rudy opts out, all FA's walk: $40,891,719 (~20 million in cap space)

Extreme case would be waiving all of our unguaranteed guys (except Amir) to end up with 6 players (DD, Amir, Fields, Novak, Val, Ross) making $37.6M in total, leaving at least 20M, probably closer to 25 M in cap space to sign 6 players.

Default The Trade

Woooo!

Ahem.

Gay (17.9M), Gray (2.7M) and Acy (0.8M) [21.4M total]

for

Salmons (7.6M), Hayes (5.7M), Patterson (3.1M), Vasquez (2.2M) [18.6M total]

Saves 2.8M this year. Salmons is only guaranteed for 1M next season if waived before June 30th. Hayes is owed 6M next year. The other two have qualifying offers coming up, so they can be pure expirings or locked up long term, whichever the team decides.

I'll update team salary later tonight.

Sure no problem.

One other note is that someone needs to be waived for this deal to go through. I would hope it would be DJ, but Stone is unguaranteed so it might be him.

That's the word from the beat reporters, but no confirmation, and it makes no sense to me.

Makes much more sense, though I would go with DJA or Daye, Stone frees up money - which could matter in deals yet to come.

Assuming they let Vasquez and Patterson walk. I doubt they do - Ujiri is king of asset retention.

Default After Rudy Trade

Someone will need to be waived. I'm not making any assumptions here. If Stone gets waived, it will free up about 7 or 8 hundred k. If anyone else gets waived, it frees up nothing.

2013-14:

DeMar DeRozan $9,500,000 (4 years)
John Salmons $7,583,000 (2 years, 2nd $1M guar)
Amir Johnson $6,500,000 (2 years, 2nd $5M guar)
Landry Fields $6,250,000 (2 years)
Kyle Lowry $6,210,000 (1 year)
Chuck Hayes $5,722,500 (2 years)
Steve Novak $3,750,000 (3 years)
Jonas Valanciunas $3,526,440 (3 years, TO in 3rd)
Tyler Hansbrough $3,183,000 (2 years, 2nd $1M guar)
Patrick Patterson $3,105,301 (1 year, RFA)
Terrence Ross $2,678,640 (3 years, TO in 3rd)
Greivis Vasquez $2,150,188 (1 year, RFA)
DJ Augustin $1,267,000 (1 year)
Austin Daye $947,907 (2 years, 2nd unguar)
Julyan Stone $884,293 (2 years, 1st 100k guar, 2nd unguar)
Quincy Acy $788,872 (2 years, 2nd unguar; $884,293 for tax)
Dwight Buycks $700,000 (2 years, 2nd unguar; $884,293 for tax)

Quentin Richardson Buyout $1,399,507
Marcus Camby Buyout $2,763,054 (0.647 M on next year's cap)

Team Cap Totals $68,120,830 (9.4 M above cap)
Team Tax Totals $68,305,123 (3.4 M below tax, 7.4 M below hard cap)

Cap: 58.679 M
Tax: 71.748 M
Apron/Hard Cap: 75.748 M

-----------------------------------------

And next year's numbers:

2014-15:

DeMar DeRozan $9,500,000
John Salmons $7,000,000 (1 M guar)
Amir Johnson $7,000,000 (5 M guar)

Steve Novak $3,445,947
Jonas Valanciunas $3,678,360

Terrence Ross $2,793,960
Austin Daye $1,063,384 (250k guaranteed until June 30th)
Julyan Stone $948,163 (unguaranteed until 7th July)
Dwight Buycks $816,482 (unguaranteed until 22nd July)
Marcus Camby $646,609 (buyout)

Kyle Lowry $9,315,000 (cap hold)
Patrick Patterson $7,763,253 (cap hold; $4,319,474 QO)
Greivis Vasquez $5,375,470 (cap hold; $3,203,780 QO)
DJ Augustin $1,512,000 (cap hold)

Above roster: $52,427,890 (at least 5M in cap space)
