Not likely according to ESPN's preseason prediction. Of the 25 ESPN writers that voted it ended up with 1) Boston (17 votes), 2) Cleveland (6 votes) and 3) Philly (2 votes). None for the Raptors.

Ah well, I prefer being an underdog anyways.

Cleavlend will never have a chance as long as they leave all the work up to LBJ. These things are jsut stupid, but very ntertaining in the off season.

mo williams is a nice upgrade at point though, and jj hickson is predicted to be the steal of the draft (colangelo was also very high on him, and if not for the o'neal trade, we'd have drafted him instead - hopefully it will not turn out to be a major mistake)

u know who else used underdog status for motivation - the bad boys of motown. they're not too pleased with those predictions, or maybe they are...

Good on them, you'd have to be insane to pick us as the EC champs at this point. Not that it's impossible, but to pick us over Boston, Cleveland, or Detroit? They'd be fucking idiots.

I'm surprised no-one picked the Pistons actually. But then again, this is Eastern Conference champs, not 1st place in the Eastern Conference. I guess I wouldn't pick Detroit after the last few years either.

I think its funny everyone is so quick to count out Miami.

Honestly, you're crazy if you think they miss the playoffs.
