Default Raptor Nation Disappearing?

I've noticed a decrease in the number of people commenting about games on various sports sites i.e. TSN

It also seems that there is less traffic on various Raptors forums.

Are people giving up?
now we know who the true fans are

Lousy player attitude, arrogant owners and no TV coverage... I am surprised that are any fans left.

They're likely still fans, but its definitely a downer when your teams not playing well. A couple of easy wins (Memphis) and the easier schedule coming up and they'll be back on the boards

Raps fans are not Leafs fans. We will not fill the building if the product is sub par.

Put together a winning streak and they will all return. Book it!

PS. TSN2 is not helping at all.

TSN 2 shouldn't deter people from being fans of the team, yea it's upsetting and you should demand to see your team, but you still can be an active fan. Take me for example I have seen ZERO live Raptors games this year and I'm still an active fan.

And that separates real Raptors fan and the bandwagon fans who complete left this this team in the dust.

I give my props to old those who stick with the Raptors even thought the complete suck and need a heart surgery.

I think those 12-14 year old that never even experience how bad the team was back then should just shut up.

Putting games on a specialty channel that Toronto's main cable provider doesn't carry is totally alienating the fan base. A good business move by MLSE I'm sure, but definitely not a move made in the best interests of the fans.

TSN2 is a real fucking buzzkill for Raptors. If we could at least see why they're sucking it up in games, that would be a help.

I'm still here...so I think Raps nation is alive and well. All we need is something to talk ie. a trade, free agent signing.

Raptors Nation is alive and well. The enthusiasm has taken a hit, but we'll be find in the long run. Personally right now I don't blame fans for taking less of an interest in the team. If I was a fan of the Raptors I too would be a little fed-up. Oh wait .... I am a fan.

I still think that the best thing for this team might be less interest. We should all pull a Jatt to a certain degree. I'm much less interested than I have ever been, and if it doesn't look like there is going to be much done to fix things, then I won't be going to any games next season, and maybe just taking a break from basketball altogether.

Looking ahead to 2010 does nothing for me, and the prospect of the game being shut down when the CBA runs out does even less. This league needs to be looked at very closely by those who can make it better, and they all need to sacrifice a bit of cash to strengthen the game for the long term. And that might stand a chance of happening if people just stop buying into what is really an inferior product altogether.

Thats why there are less people. We are second last in the east and just lost to the team in last palce. We truly should be the worst team in the esat. 3ed in playoffs, ahhhahahahahhahahah
