Default Raps vs. Bulls March 24, 1996.

It's on Raps TV right now.

Pretty damn amazing that our expansion team could upset maybe the greatest team ever.

Ah Mighty Mouse... he used to be so good....

Small wonder that MJ had some trouble with the Raps back then.... facing Alvin Roberston AND Christie? Probably the best defensive tandem we've ever had.

So true, Robertson is probably the most unmentioned of pretty good former raptor players.

I was a huge fan of Robertson, Christie took a lot of bad shots (he might have passed this on to many Raptors players to follow) but his D was good. Stoudamire was one of the best Raptors we ever had from when he played here.

MJ didn't have trouble with the Raps, a couple of months earlier he dropped 38 in a big win (actually twice, one in November 95 and the game in January 96), in this loss he had 36 points, 9 boards. They were without Rodman and he nearly won them the game. He should have got the ball instead of Kerr. Another thing about MJ is that he would always get motivated to play against good defenders and he also shut him down in the 4 games that season (Robertson).

Lol... MJ didn't really have trouble with ANYONE... but Christie made him work harder than most. He had the size, strength and quickness to stay with MJ, unlike most 2-guards at the time.

Well the thing was with Jordan, if you could get him to take the challenge, he usually forgot the rest of his teamates, which, at least gave your team a chance.
