With or w/out Nash, sources say, Raps will keep trying to trade for Kyle Lowry. Raps talked deals w/HOU at draft. Still want him either way

What a fuck up by BC. Now that we look desperate waiting for Nash to decide, I bet Houston will now want more than they did at the draft.

I don't like the money but i actually like the signing. I think under Casey he'll be more like he was in his rookie year and the first two years are very manageable. The only problem i have with Colangelo is that i think he needs to move on from Nash and concentrate on other moves.

I can see why bc waited because we were one of the favorites to obtain nash. But our first round pick might have been of more value to Houston knowing they could have had the option to select either ross, Drummond, rivers etc. We would have then been stuck with Lowry and Nash though. I'm not sure if we could have made a subsequent trade for Lowry in the event Nash signed with us or had to wait until march 1st. I think the march 1 rule only applies to newly signed players though.

This is what i don't understand. If they want Lowry w/without Nash.....why not deal for Lowry last week at the draft then go after Nash. If it doesn't work who cares.

If Nash doesn't sign with us, I'm going to be hoping for the same thing as last year: watching our young guys compete and develop while at the same time lose enough games to be in the bottom 5. But the east is so horrible and I dont want to end up like Indiana all those years they finished 9th 10th.

Obviously it was made for alterior motives, but really...whatever. It's funny most applauded that deal when it happened, even some american writers said it was ballsy. Now that it doesn't look so great because Nash still picks NY people will question it more.BC can't win right now no matter what he does.

Going after Nash was a huge fuck up in th first place. the guy is about to hit retirement can't play any D and was gonna be signed to max money. Now BC fucked us over too late. We would have had a chance before the draft. He was in for his head for Captain Pylon.
