That deal still has us with about 7Mil in capspace

Amnesty Calderon giving us about 17Mil in capspace

Offer a fat contract to Batum

Lowry/Bayless
Fields/Lamb/Ross
Batum/Johnson/Kleiza
Bargs/Amir/Acy
Val/Gray?/Vet min (Magloire?)

^ Three young SG's that can shoot and play D
Why is Lamb factored in?

Amir for Lowry straight up.

The thing is, they don't need bigs. If you want to give them a PF you'll have to get one in return or throw in a player such as Derozan. When you look at their roster right now the thing they actually need the most is two PG's if they don't sign Dragic.

If they sign Dragic and trade Lowry they need a backup for him. In that case:

Bayless s&t for Lowry (salaries would matchup well), maybe you throw in a future protected 1st or a 2nd rounder.

Perhaps you're all undermining Lowry's value. Lowry was (much like Bargs) an all star early in the season and they likely see him in the same light as Bargs is seen here.

I gotta admit I like this team/\!

There has to be something we can get for Jose! Maybe the Blazers would like a sign & trade for Batum?

Right and i suggest giving Demar and Bayless who can easily put 15 pts a game, both are young and cost peanuts. Its either i dont know anything about basketball or you are lowballing our players

The Houston Rockets are a bit desperate themselves, people need to realize this. The Raptors don't need to overreact by trading one of their best scorers in DeMar Derozan. Afterwards, fans will be complaining that they have no wing player who can get to the line. DeRozan is the best on the Raptors at attacking the rim/drawing fouls and it's needed in this team's offesive game.

Here's a proposal that I've orchestrated on ESPN's Trade Machine
Proposal Link : NBA Trade Machine - ESPN

Toronto Gets: PG- Kyle Lowry
Houston Gets: C- Pau Gasol
Los Angeles Gets: PF- Luis Scola, PG- Jose Calderon

It was approved but I consider this only to be just a template for an offer between these three clubs. Maybe picks could be included for complete fairness. Every organization gets to move disgruntled and undesired players for coveted ones at positions they need help in. All players are still good/very useful starters and the kicker is that with Calderon's contract coming off the books,it gives the Lakers cap space to pursue Chris Paul at PG after the upcoming season.

We don't know if Batum is still being a 'lil bitch about being flagged for health issues pre-draft. Apparently the Raps had it in for him and personally wanted to see him fall just for giggles.

Maybe Toronto could also throw in a top 8-10 protected 1st round pick in the 2013 draft, just to sweeten it.

If this deal was successful, the Raptors could then amnesty Amir Johnson's or Linas Kleiza's contract and save another 4 or 5 million.

JB has constantly been thrashed on this forum and others. I'm just being realistic. Lowry is a better over player than both of those guys. Houston just drafted Lamb to play SG and still have Martin. They also drafted T.Jones + White. They also have Parsons. They aren't in the worst position at the wings.

BaileysBlitz - that's actually not a horrible trade. LAL need to do a 2 for 1 trade eventually. Houston have long been admirers of Pau. Raps would do that deal instantly. I agree that more could be included but it's not a bad start.

What is wrong with that deal as long as we trade Amir & Klieza?

What about a sign & trade of Beasley for Amir & Klieza?
