Him and Bayless at this point are on the same level imo. I don't know why you think Bayless is soooooo much better then flynn.

I'm not sure he'll be a star in this league. Yeah, the triangle is one of the hardest offenses to run but Flynn was bad on almost all levels last year. He proved that he was too small to guard most starting PGs (aside from Jose, lol), he can't shoot and that he looks for his before helping to set up anyone else.

T-Wolves are not going to give Flynn up for a second-rounder. He's one of the better young point guards in this league, and can at least return a solid role player (like Barbosa who was suggested a few posts ago).

He is still a young player with good potential. He was sidelined with an injury very early in the season and wasn't really able to bounce back after that.

I think Min will trade the pick if they get first or second. We need to make a good offer to them.

I kind of hope he doesn't get traded here. Leo would be jizzing in his pants every game at the opportunity to mention Syracuse and his 4 years of greatness there.

For what exactly? He hasn't done a lot since being drafterd, he's just had injury issues, and teams would know they'd pretty much have to get rid of him since they 'd have too mmany PG's. If you think they'd get a top prospect for him you're delusional.

Barbosa for Flynn is way too much IMO. Why would we give up Barbosa for Flynn? Barbosa > Flynn any day of the week. If we didn't have Barbosa we would of won like 6 games this season.

There you go exaggerating again. And again undervaluing a good young player. How do you think Bayless who's bounced around the league for a couple years, has struggled as a backup most of the time is sooooo much better then Flynn? And Barbosa won't be here long term so I'd trade him for Flynn especially if we can get Williams in the draft somehow.

Let's get Wes Johnson while we're at it, too.

Flynn is the worst shooter I've seen in my life. What did he average, like 35% from the field? He is considered a combo-guard and can't even shoot, fuck that. For the time Bayless started during the end of the season, he played incredible.. absolutely incredible. Flynn is a fuckin' joke, he is the next Will Solomon.

first reason, he got drafted 6th overall 2 years ago....there is no way in hell a gm can trade away a player drafted that high for a second rounder....no way

also, he put up 13.5/4.5 in his rookie season...he had injury problems this year...and only played 18 mins a game...

he still has a lot of upside...and is only 22?

i started typing the reasons to argue that statement...but toped because its just seems so ridiculous actually having to explain to someone why that particular statement is sooooo wrong...

It's the Timberwolves anything can happen...

I like Flynn and I think he would thrive just as good or even better than Bayless did.
As fans of the Raptors were going to tend to think Bayless is better but the truth is Flynn has a higher ceiling.

flynn isn't the answer for us at the PG position, but acquiring him would definitely solidify that position
but we'd still have to acquire an elite level PG ahead of the guys we have already
it'd have to be a starter acquired either from the draft or a trade with bayless and flynn as the backups, both those guys are good enough to be starters but only on bad teams or on teams where the other positions are stacked with stars, which we clearly don't have

I'm talking about this season, he played piss poor and I'm not about to trade for banged up players who come off disgusting seasons. Only raptor fans would want to trade for a player after they play like complete shit, god forbid people want to go after someone who played half-decent.
