![]() He's an energy guy that has much more impact than Gooden. Even at 20 mpg, and he needs to get that increased anyway. I'm thrilled that he got signed so soon. It's a good sign. Why would anyone think that he would come cheap? Would it be better if he just went somewhere else?

![]() I thought they couldn't announce FA signings until July 8th officially?
Was he a restricted FA? Is that why? Or is it just not confirmed by MLSE thats why? anyhow D.Smith just confirmed it to: Quote:

![]() I'm sure he had a similar offer from someone and that's why we're paying him that. He is improving in leaps and bounds so i'm sure he will have a career year, this year. I'm so glad he's back. I said it would take $6 mill to get him back. I'm wondering if it's back end loaded.

Do not like that much money for Amir Johnson, if he had a similar offer we should have let him walk. I hope i'm wrong! |

![]() Its a tad high but it seems thats how the market is playing out. Amir is good value for money anyhow. I read on a bucks forum that they wished they had signed Amir instead of Gooden.
