Here are the stats with all th lineup combinations we've used this season and Belinelli dominates when the lineup provides positive results. He's had a rough couple games lately but it's interseting to look at:

After seeing that... I think our Starting lineup should be Caldy/Beli/Wright/Bosh/Bargs.

I like when Beli is on the floor with Jack/Johnson/Bargs, he's played well with all three imo.

What is so great about Wright?

He is ok on D but can't play on O...Which wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that he takes shots he can't make! If he just worked the ball around it would be fine but guys sag off and he takes shots he can't make!

Nothing, but those 5 guys on the court give us a +/- of +22 (best 5 combination out of any 5 on the team).

I agree... especially about Bargs and belli... Triano needs to use that combo more so Bargs isnt just out there not getting touches... Bargs can score against any defender they put on him... cut the reins... gotta love Belli and his aggression too... jack has that but shouldnt be shooting as much...

What they really need is to finish those "and one" plays without surrendering so many to the opponents...

It's just frustration talking, but have you noticed this especially last night?

We can't have Belli starting with Jose and Hedo on the floor...too many guys that need the ball. I like Belli's role now...in fact if anything give him minutes at Wright's expense as he still isnt' playing up to par.

Acquiring Belinelli was further confirmation of my awesomeness.

I fully agree. I say this not because I'm Italian but because I know Belinelli very well. He has an enormous potential and he can be decisive...

These stats are scary. Even after recent shooting slump, Belinelli is present in top +/- lineups.
He is an underrated defender. If we put him on Ray Allen earlier, who knows how that would turn out.

That's the easy answer:
Allen will be a non factor.
It already happened last year and KG , found his own solution:

Yea, but apparently Triano didn't see that clip.

Marco is decent man defender, but also makes ball movement in backcourt quite difficult. Active hands and good anticipation.

Belinelli is such an inconsistant shooter. I thought Morris Peterson and Carlos Delfino were unreliable, but they pale in comparison to our boy Marco. He seriously needs to work on getting some balance into his shots too. So many times he does these leaners when he doesn't need to.... and they never go in.
That being said, i actually like having him on the court. He gives me a sense of comfort.... I know it's totally contradictory to what i said, but for some f*cked up reason it's true.

If you look more carefully I think it's not Belinelli but actually Bargnani who's dominating the top 5-men combination line-ups. If you check the individual stats, it's a whole different story. Bosh, Bargnani and Hedo share the top three spot.

that's my favourite part of his game, although he's not my favourite player on this team, the way he drives to the basket is great. I prefer that over when he shoots.

My wife yelled at him to get his damn mouthguard into his mouth last night. I thought that was pretty good.

He looks a little like a young Manu, and I like that. If he can, like Manu, get his shooting together, then he's going to be a nice player. For now he provides the sort of peskiness and fearlessness that they lost when Garbo went down. To be clear - I can't see him being on a par with Manu or Garbajosa just yet, but I hope he gets there.

Both Belli and Weems have been very scrappy on D on the perimeter... at this point I really don't care how much offense they contribute... as long as they continue to bring that part of their game to the floor.
