+1

Shit, we're agreeing a lot lately.

That's fine...but selling right now is foolish... please address this point. We can disagree, but if you look at AB shooting 3's right now, you can tell something is affecting his confidence... he's missing them side rim and shit, he's not right. Trading him now is a fool's move. LA is holding out for a sweetener and they'll likely get one.... in the form of Ross. Yikes. Now that would be genius!!!

I'm not the most articulate at sharing my views but I'll try my best to express my thoughts in answering your question and hope you understand my point.

Right now, there's nothing in the forecast and projections to suggest that Bargnani will get better thus improving his value. I think its less about questioning whether his skills have diminish but more about questioning whether he has peaked for his potential in this role on the Raptors. I strongly do believe it only goes down from here because the expectations are raising but the production isn't and he just isn't that gifted to miraculously turn it up a few notches.

Its kind of like BlackBerry/RIM,based on what they've shown at times in the past, you hope that they can rebound from their downfall but their just isn't enough there to be convinced or certain that they will return to any form of glory. That's what Bargnani reminds me of currently.

Last season and so far this season combined he's shotting 30.5 3PT%

There's a patern here and it started even before last season. His percentages have been going down the last 3 seasons from where they once were. Now a lot of that has to do with him taking more shots. He should not be a volume shooter imo. When he was playing next to Bosh he shot better on less shots. This guy needs to be a 3rd option or possibly be the 6th man playing 25mpg off the bench. Preferably not here.

I love the way you write, you're like a bboy spitting beautiful mosaics!!!

I totally disagree with you though. RIM has hope, there is always room for another provider. Months ago they were at an all time low and now it's trading above $12/share, almost double what it was. Bargnani is not this bad, there is more hope. People love to jump on someone when he's down. His skills haven't regressed, his confidence has. Instead of leaving him out on an island, bring him back in, get him back on track. A good coach would do that.... trading him now means you've lost all your value. It's foolish. Anybody that told you to sell RIM two months ago was giving you bad advice. Sell at the bottom? Seriously? Markets are cyclical and RIM is too good of a product to just disappear completely. If you think AB is going to be Jason Kapono from here on out, then go and sell... but you can't convince me that's the case.

Dude, you just made my point. I appreciate the help. It's on Casey to make the adjustments. Unfortunately, DD is a third option as well so Casey does have a bit of a difficult job ahead of him.

About the whole start ED and JVal discussion, though I agree Bargs is better to come off the bench at the moment I don't see how those two can work togheter given that both don't have range and need to operate in the low post.
We heard about this same problem regarding the Lakers and the Gasol trade rumors.
For me should be one of Amir-Bargs and one of Ed-Val on court at every moment, so at least there's one big who's able to hit mid-range j.

Lol at the bboy comparison

You're absolutely right when you say he's lost his confidence. Where I differ is that by playing him when he's struggling the way he is,its almost like a reward and I believe its sending the wrong message. I think most people can handle the poor performances but its the way it looks like he's lacking effort that boils a lot of Raps fans right now. A benching or two, whether to start the game or at crucial moments in the second half will really make it clear that we need him to be better,as proven by their record,Toronto can't afford him to be playing the way he is right now. Especially when Lowry's turning it up and DeRozan is playing his best all around basketball.

Yea,they keep saying bad stuff about the new BB10 but we just gotta wait until it drops. Personally,I'm gonna stick with my BB because it introduced me to the smartphone world and I need my keypad,I hate touch screen typing lol...I do 98% of my posting on here from this Bold
