Raps discussing trade with OKC?

Raptors are talking to the Thunder, who own 18, 21 and 26 and are looking to move up.
Fernandez + 22 for 13 isn't going anywhere
The word is the Raps are looking at Aldrich and Bledsoe with the latter being their preference.

Bledsoe should still be there at 18. Any guesses as to who they'd want with that second pick? Orton? Seraphin? Ebanks?

If we came away with Bledoe and Ebanks, I'd be VERY happy.

What about Whiteside? Id take Whiteside over Ebanks due to his bigger Wingspan and frame

getting three picks in this draft would be awesome, Lots of projects with potential that will be available in around 20's and we're rebuilding so we can wait. you'll get more finished products at 13 but there is still upside late in this draft

If this team passes on Bradley to take Bledsoe there is going to be alot of angry people in a years time.

Could be wrong but I seriously doubt it. Bradley is a better shooter, defender, more athletic, faster. Bledsoe may be a better passer but he hasnt played any pg since high school.

And Ebanks isnt even a projected first rounder on most mockdrafts.
Quote:
With the college basketball season nearing its most important stretch, it’s difficult not to feel somewhat disappointed when appraising the progress made by one of the more scrutinized prospects in the sophomore class, West Virginia’s Devin Ebanks.

Starting off the season suspended for his team’s first three games for undisclosed reasons (reportedly academic), and then hurting his hand in early December in an unconfirmed fist-fight with teammate Truck Bryant, Ebanks has been very up and down all year long both on and off the court.

This culminated in an extremely underwhelming performance in 2010 thus far, being able to hit double-digit scoring in just 4 of his last 10 games. While his team is nonetheless surging at 18-3 and is currently ranked in the top-10 of the various polls, Ebanks’ off-court issues and disappearance in Big East play has to be giving NBA decision makers cause for concern when assessing his draft stock for this upcoming spring.

Ebanks’ numbers have mostly stagnated or regressed slightly when comparing with last season. His scoring production, rebounding, shooting percentages, free throw attempts and turnovers are all pretty much the same, while his assists and free throw attempts are down.

Ahh i thought you were after a Center, My bad. I really like Whiteside though, But i was saying the same thing last year about Hasheem Thabeet and look how he ended up in his first year.

Bradley is a better scorer, but that's because Bradley is a SG, not a PG.
Bledsoe wasn't even playing PG last season, he was playing off-guard because of Wall. And the comment about him not playing PG since high school, it's not like the guy is 2-3 years removed from his senior year at HS, it was just LAST YEAR.

Your other comments about Bradley being faster, more athletic and faster than Bledoe is fuckin assinine, Snooch. Did you watch Bledsoe at all this season?

Mango's bang on, Bledsoe is similar in speed if not faster than Bradley, he's a better shooter from long distance (although Bradley's got an elite pull-up game), and a much better slasher. Also, Bledsoe is a very active and gritty defender. He was even a bit more disruptive, then Bradley was last season (1.4 to 1.3 steals/game).

The problem with Bradley is he isn't a premier scorer, and he is poor at creating for others. On the defensive side he projects very well, but not if he is covering 2's. He seems like Monta Ellis with less O and more D.

Bledsoe was adept at creating in HS (5 star recruit), he is a premier athlete, with a big body, and a ton of speed. I worry about how turnover prone he was in college, but that might have been b/c he was playing outside his comfort zone - without the ball at the 2.

Bledsoe isnt as good as Bradley, face it.

And I did watch him play, and I saw that he benefited tremendously from playing beside Wall.

Bradley is as fast as wall in the sprint, has a ridiculous 38 inch vert, lane agility is top 10 in draft,

I am just far from sold on bledsoe, see him as another Banks at best, be a huge waste of a pick imho. George, Henry, Bradley are all going to be much better players.

Terrible comparison for Aldrich. Aldrich is not the fancy pick but he is a guy who will come in give you rebounds, blocks, and defense. He will never be a star in the league but will be a solid role player for a team.
