kevin martin is injury prone and overpaid

that being said if the raps can dump hedo and a filler/chips THEN GO FOR IT. Very Talented player when healthy at least in terms of scoring,a solid piece for when Bosh leaves unlike hedo who is just a peice of shit(on the court, not as a person)

actually to correct myself, there is no chance sac wants hedo. They'll want cap space as the franchise is broke. It was just a christmas wish of mine

you want D, but jack is an upgrade over jose, and martin is a much much better player than derozan, so you get an asset there

Aside from a complete breakdown in team chemistry, a regression because of Martin's presence or a trade offer involving an All-Star caliber player (specifically, a big man), Martin is going nowhere. According to sources, Cleveland, Houston and Toronto are among those teams interested in acquiring the dynamic scorer and are keeping an eye on how the situation unfolds.
It sounds like they would want a big man, not a pg for Martin. It might cost us Bargnani to get him. Is he worth trading Bargs for and possibly stunting DD's development?

When Martin plays, he's an excellent second option and he's pretty sound defensively.

Evans seems to have solidified the PG position there with Beno over at the 2. Casspi, Hawes and Thompson are all solid in their front court. Jose would make sense as that would move Evans to the 2 and Beno as the 6th man.

Martin here would give us a legitimate threat and allow us to develop DeRozan properly.

Sounds like a good option.

Or we could always go big time and trade for Tracy McGrady. 1/2 year rental, let him go nuts.

Interesting..but Martin is very fragile. And I'm guessing the Kings would want DD and Amir..hmm

How can we even get him to match salary? I dunno how this would work well with him AND Hedo here, if Hedo wasnt here hed be an absolutely perfect fit. Though I'm sure Hedo and him could make it work. Hed be an incredible fit, having a guy who can go off for 25+ on any night is massive.

Martin would probably stay alot healthier here as we have alot more offensive weapons to surround him with then is in Sacto.

If the deal is say Bargs/Jose for Him and a bigman then Martin having both Hedo(who demands respect from defenders) and Bosh(who also demands respect) then he wouldnt get as banged up on offense anymore.

However, he is no improvement on the defensive side and having Bosh(who needs to shoot) and Hedo who needs to control the offense it would leave Martin as more of a shooter as opposed to working with the ball himself which, unless I am mistaken, is what he needs to do.

Martin needs the ball more than you think, hes not a Rip kind of player. The best thing about him isnt his shooting, its the fact that he gets to the foul line a ton and he doesnt need a lot of FGs to get to 25 points. Hes very efficient and an awesome scorer. His defence sucks though, which is why I dont think him and Hedo would work overall. I think they could share ballhandling duties and it could work as its not like Jack handles it all that often in the halfcourt anyway.

Jose makes 9, Martin 11 or 12
almost works straight up, add wright and you have a deal
even of you don't keep him long , he's a better asset than calderon
and Evans plays sg in sactown

If they can make the deal for Calderon, I don't see any way we can refuse it.

Jack/Martin/Turkoglu/Bosh/Bargnani

That looks like a very strong starting 5 to me...Again the question always comes down to will they actually play defense but aside from that one point [it's a huge point though], that would be incredible.
