Young, has upside, still on his rookie contract. I like it.

Right now he's a glorified energy player. If he works hard he can become a Millsap type of PF, but I haven't really seen a lot of progression from him. He's a very good rebounder, but he's awful defensively, and he's below average in the half court offensively. I'd trade for him because he's still young, but I wouldn't give them a 1st round pick for him straight up.

Faried/Chandler for Amir/Vasquez and a pick if necessary.. I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I'm sure he'd be jacked to play with Ross instead of against him.

not crazy about faried, he's the same player he was in his rookie season. He's noah minus the IQ and defense and he'll want to get paid on production, which vastly compliments his actual value. A bit concerned about our interest in him, unless MU thinks we can get him for almost nothing, because I don't see what can we possibly offer? Picks/amir/ross, that's about it - and either would be a major mistake.

Well If we managed to grab Teague + THJR in the Lowry deal wiith ATL and NY, and then flipped THJR + Fillers for Faried + Chandler + Miler, that would end up being a solid fit, since THJR and Ross have somewhat similar games. Obviously this is making a lot of assumptions but:

Teague/Miller
Demar/Ross
Chandler/Salmons
Patterson/Faried
JV/Amir

Not a bad move I guess?

THJ is so overrated by NBA fans, but this just takes it to a whole other level. He's a good spot up shooter and a good athlete. He's nothing special. How the hell could he bring back Faried in a trade, let alone those 3 together?

I like Faried, but I worry about his long-term effectiveness. I realize that he's only 24 years old, but he's already taken a pounding in his three years in the NBA. He's also undersized at 6'8" (I actually think he's more like 6'6") and he has a very limited offensive game. He's a solid defender and decent rebounder, but he's an energy player. The club needs a more stout post-defender and rebounder and a guy who can chip in some points. Tristan Thompson would be a better target IMO.

I would do that trade over the other one proposed on the forum where we get Chandler. But Den has to really like Vasquez though. I think we win that trade though with the way Vasquez is currently playing. If Vasquez was like 8 and 5 with a decent shooting percentage, I could see Den doing it.
