Question Ramon Sessions

Apparently, Minny wants to do a salary dump with him. He's only 23 and has 3 years at 4 million per left on his contract. I know he's not really a threat from outside, but he can finish around the basket and he drops some tasty dimes. Is this someone the Raps should be interesed in?

Wow just before Ricky Rubio rumor surffaced I was thinking about him.
Sessions is a great pass-first PG

Do you have a source on his rumor? Or just Ridnour signing

Edit: never mind I found it

Mehhh, Jack/Sessions doesn't really solve our PG issues imo. But isn't he a pretty decent defender?

I heard good things about him when he was in Milwaukee but is now about to be displaced again by a better pg. I don't think he would be much of an upgrade over what we already have

After signing Ramon Sessions(notes) to a four-year, $16 million contract a year ago, Minnesota Timberwolves general manager David Kahn is trying to unload the guard to teams able to absorb his salary, league executives told Yahoo! Sports.

“They’re basically looking for a salary dump,” said an executive with a team who spoke to Minnesota. “That won’t be easy.”

He came off the bench in Minny and he's a pick and roll guy, but they were trying to run a triangle offense.

is Barbosa a pg or a sg in our new model? I see Leandro as more capable of playing both positions than Jack, so I'd say Sessions wouldn't find enough time on this team.... I just don't think he brings enough to take time from Jack or Barbosa.... and I'm beginning to like Jack more on this team with less money wasted on average pg's behind him.

Just my thoughts, but I'd pass on Sessions.

I see Barbosa as a 2 off of the bench, just like he was in Phoenix last season.

Sessions is a lot more creative than anyone we currently have on our roster and able to create off of the dribble and with so many athletes able to get up and down the floor and go up and get the ball, I think he'd be an ideal fit.

Barbosa is a small SG then.... and I definitely don't mind Barbosa as our backup pg, as he is a change of pace guy, not many are faster than him in the league. Dude can score, and not just by shooting. If we're looking to add depth, why not look for SF where Kleiza isn't a guarantee to be here.... Denver could match.

definitely see your point.... and am not opposed to it, especially considering it's a reasonable contract. But Barbosa as a SG/backup PG isn't the worst idea either.

Now that's a player I would love to get. Very manageable salary, high assist and good creator. Not a great defender, but what the heck, he's an upgrade over what we have now. And he makes half the salary.

He was amazing with the bucks. He only has a 4 mil per year contract so I would do this.
