I just have an opinion about our drafts. We failed big time in terms of big guys - centers -, and I would say that the reason for that we do not develop thos guys in the right way and a solid proof for that is AB and JV. Look at Soloman Alabi, a guy who was a great rebounder and shot blocker in the college, we could not even use him in those two fields. When you draft big guys like those I have mentioned, you need to hire a special coach for them, that is what most of the other teams do.
Due to the cheapness of this organization, they never do that, they just want those guys to develop themselves. I think AB, Alabi and JV would have been far better if they had a special coach for them from the begining.

Unless you made a case for the Bargs picks due to the higher stakes of picking #1

What Isiah did in NYK? Now THAT was horrible GM'ing.

So did I. And I remember those games against the Kings, Warriors and Lakers when Haffa was actually pretty solid (did you look at the game logs?).

Haffa wasn't supposed to be Tim Duncan coming into the league. He was more a Zaza P. type. If anyone thought differently then that was their mistake.
I remember the Kings game because I was at that game. I think that was his only double double that season, or one of three at best.

I wanted him to succeed, but he just wasn't even going to be the next Eric Montross, let alone Zaza.
