What do you think the chances of him coming back to the NBA are?

I think if we can develop him properly, he would be a great big off the bench getting 15-20 min and averaging around 8 and 8. Dude can play

Acy has Kleiza's spot next year. Sucks that Linas can't get healthy enough with that knee, he probably needed to lose some pounds and get lighter, but hard to do when you're nursing a lower body joint issue.

^Pape Sow was a 30/30 player or something when he was there for his couple of games then recalled back and wrecked it. Acy has some potential and just needs some time. One thing for sure though is he sure loves to dunk the ball everytime he gets it

Do we know when he took that 3? Might be a buzzer beating attempt from full court?

From Play by Play:

First Q:
09:57[FWN 4-5] Mitchell Layup Shot: Made (2 PTS) Assist: Richardson (1 AST)
09:42 Acy 3pt Shot: Missed

So with 9:42 left in the first quarter, and 9seconds left on the shot clock.

Andrea Bargnani’s elbow injury could sideline him for another significant chunk of time.

The Raptors centre will undergo diagnostic testing on his elbow Monday after he aggravated it during Friday night’s 118-116 overtime loss to the Lakers in Los Angeles.
Quote:
Casey said if Bargnani’s injury is long-term the team will “definitely have to” bring back forward Quincy Acy from Bakersfield of the NBA D-League.

Can't wait to see Acy here, but he needs to play. If he's not getting 15 mins, why bring him back?

I think its fair to say our season is over. Need to run line ups that give tons of experience to our rooks

Agreed, he's looked pretty good in the minutes he has been given so far. Why not?

Damn, Bargs is out again!

Elbow injuries suck, I fell on my elbow on a frozen pond while playin some hockey last year and it still hasn't healed.

Does this mean we're amnestying Bargs, as we're not going to get anything for him?

Most likely no.....this means he is going no where and we will look forward to his shit, stupid ass Premo commercial for another season. Listen, you don't amnesty a player that has value....and apparently Bargs DOES have some sort of value somewhere in the league. Were going to pay the guy regardless, so the ONLY hope is that he gets traded in the off season, or next season, or the following season when he is on the last year of his deal. Amnesty is for a player this pretty much getting paid (too much, or not) money and has no value on the team he is playing or else where in the league (whether its because he gets paid wayyyyyyy too much, or because he is a guy with serious injury issues/can't play anymore)
