Triano, Bargs and Jose to a certain extent (who you bash incessantly) are here because of Colangelo, yet you advocate extending him.

I've blamed Colangelo for hiring Triano, Jose was here when BC was hired and when he was extended it was the right thing to do at the time.....doesn't mean he should stay now, Bnargnani when drafted in a shit draft made sense and is talented and the pick made sense, but the player is lazy and he hasn't improved in areas we need most which is on him. And yes I want Colangelo extended because he's a good GM and nobody better would likely come here and there really isn't anyone better available anyway.

We had nothin' meng! We were about to move to OKC. I ain't playin' holmes!! KP made moves up to get Lamarcus, he made moves up to get Brandon. He made moves to get ridda the pouty Darius Miles, and the Ruben punchin' ZeBo.

Seriously, we were stinky shit, you guys have never had as bad of team as what I saw for a couple years. Am I saying that KP saved the Trail Blazers organization....YES I AM!

Dudes get hurt, that is nothing KP could have controlled. But just the fact that we scared the Lakers, and we still got a chance, tells you a lot from what was a bottom dwelling team not all that long ago.

1. Sell the team to an entity with a much higher stake in seeing wins.
2. Let that entity do what it needs to do to get those wins.

you define priorities, but, this season has been all about priorities :
1. make some flexibilities for the new CBA
2. develop our youngs
3. bring more youngs.

the money is a great part of this business, so BC did a great job about the new CBA comming this offseason.
he prepare this franchise to that.
and yes he had made some mistakes (who doesn't).

if you lokk for another GM this offseason, i don't think you an find one who hcan lead better this franchise.
personally, my heart balance between him and prichard.

so about the priorities :
1. keep BC or hired pritchard.
2. draft a stud player at PG or SF.
3. watch out for the new CBA and after make your moves :
a. don't resign these expirings : weems, ajinca, evans.
b: hired a new head coach like Malone (NOH assistant) who knows something about defense.
c. keep some player for our 12-15 spot : dorsey and wirght. (because as the 3rd backup at their spot, their can be fine and unselfish)
d. trade Bargnani for 1 first high pick and a young stud
c. trade kleiza for 2 second pick

we have seen this season who is a keeper and who is not. so that leaves this team with :

jose/bayless
DD/barbosa
JJ/wright
amir/davis/dorsey
??/??/alabi

our payroll will be 37M at the start of the offseason incude a high pick), enough to be under the new cba and go after some FA.

I keep jose because we need some vet with leadership, and this season he did good things. maybe trade him during the next season if we draft irving at the pg spot.

Priority 1. Grab a beer
Priority 2. Sit back while BC works some draft night magic
Priority 3. Resign Reggie

1. Fire Triano-the man can't teach defense
2. Trade Bargnani-the man can't learn defense
3. Upgrade starting PG.
4. Step up Strength and Conditioning Program-Demar & Ed Davis

How's he supposed to learn defense playing for a guy who can't teach it?

Bargnani is just not a sharp cookie. He doesn't have the reaction speed or the brains to react on defense, he can't get the job done.

In order of happening, not priority;

1. Draft the best player available and know he's not going to change the team in any way (this draft blows).
2. Bye bye expirings.
3. Sign Tyson Chandler. Back-up plan Illguaskas.
4. Sign a SF - Tayshaun Prince. Back-up plan Battier. Doubt AK47 isn't resigned by Utah.
5. Dump salary get under the cap.
6. Hire new coach that can get Bargs to rebound/defend or know that you will have to build around him and hide his deficiencies.
7. Fill out roster. Doubt Barbosa uses option.
8. Not resigning any restricted free agents except Bayless if reasonable.

Davis, Chandler, Bargnani play 3 man rotation at the 4-5 with Bargs moving between each. Derozan at the 2.

Plan B... lockout.

Plan C... tank again.

Lol.... there was only ONE team in the whole NBA who could say that with any kind of certainty.... and it wasn't the Blazers.

That team was (and still is!) owned by Mr. Donald Sterling.

except, i dont think Bargnani should be traded but the team should'nt be built around him either...he can be a great 2nd option....he just isnt the franchise player bc had visioned & i dont think thats too bad of a situation give his salary...

and i really hope Kleiza is dealt...
what exactly did pritchard do in Portland? Other than the 2006 draft, he's had few if any successes. And portland as a team won just as many playoff series as we did ... And right now, I'd rather be a raptor fan than a blazer. They're paying 32 million a year for aldridge and roy, which is more than Miami pays for lebron and wade, and it's likely that between them they won't get a single all-star appearance in the next 4-5 years.

Once they lose miller and camby, they're doomed. Between wallace, aldridge and roy, they won't have cap space anytime soon, and with that core they will never win anything. Unless oden somewhat makes a comeback, they're in deep shit.

Have you watched enough Blazers' games to make that comment. The have a Wesley Mathews (sophmore) who scores as much as Derozan and plays defense.

They have also locked up the small forward postion with Batum. He plays defense and gives consistent production with 12 ppg. Batum and Gerald Wallace surpasses anything the Raptor's can offer.

Mr. Aldridge has shown he can be a No. 1 option on a playoff team. Something you can't say about the Raptors. Most important, they have players who can play defense. Thay are Top 9 in point allowed.

Right now, Portland has a brighter future than the Raptors. However, trade me Aldridge for Bargnani and my decision changes.

Remember when Hedo was going to sign in Portland?

Too bad he didn't.
