Nets Primo Brezec? Jake Voskuhl?

So,
We have glaring depth issues at the 4 and 5 spot. Although rasho would be great and claims to want to play in t.o., it doesn't seem like the deal is getting complete, and detroit as well as a few other teams are planning on making a run at him.
Other than that, our options are slim. Johan petro is a name that has been thrown around a little bit, but from what I hear, he isn't that interested in toronto. It is becoming more and more obvious we are letting pops go, not sure why there are no offers to him yet either. Aaron gray? Ryan Hollins? I would love to see either of them before Patrick O'bryant

So, what I was wondering is.....what about Primo, and Jake?
I beleive Primo is playing on Lottomatica Roma, and jake is....retired? China? Timbucktoo?
Do we not still have the rights to these two, nba minute filler big men?
I find Primo particularily interesting.
Can anyone enlighten me on his playing in t.o.? I was not around for that season.

WE NEED BIG MEN!

WE CURRENTLY HAVE PATRICK O'BRYANT!!!!

Would a large paper bag with eyes painted on not be just as, if not more effective than him? Perhaps we could even paint a mean face on the bag to provide the intimidation that he is so sorely lacking.

I like Aaron Gray.

He's like a young Rasho.

Solid, Tough, plays the right way by knowing his role

I just don't get the hostility towards O'Bryant. Were people expecting him to come in here and dominate? We got the fucker for next to nothing, he hardly played and he's really the 12th man at best. Give the kid at least some credit for staying in Toronto and working hard with the Raptors coaches. He also went to summer league, which is more than can be said of Marcus Banks who refused.
So what if he's a waste of money? It's not yours, (unless you're a teacher).

I'm willing to bet that Rasho will be signed. These things take time and it's not like we're hearing about other concrete offers for him.
Either way, I'm sure BC will shore up the back-up big-man situation without having to resort to Primo or Jake.

no thanks to Jake.

Although Primoz i would totally consider. I came to like him during his brief time here. He set some mean screens, played tough, was a good teammate and a funny guy. Kinda like jake i guess, but with more edge and more skill.

Although Primoz was in Europe last year, so he may very well be under contract already.

Still, Rasho would be my first choice.

what depth issues. we have a pretty well rounded squad for a change.

We're talking about one center (who we have money for by the way - unlike last year).
Seriously, if we land Rasho, we are looking great for depth. Add Delfino or another wing man, and we will have more contributors than we may even need.

Why is the Nets logo the symbol for this thread?

Like people have already mentioned, Rasho for the LLE is the way to go.

The issue is that he wont' be the 12th man. He is basically coming in right after evans. And as far as giving him credit for "working hard"...really?? Did you watch him in vegas? I would NOT call that working hard. I would call that being lost. Any one of the players I mentioned could at least start in the D league (maybe not voskuhl), but o'bryant would be a stretch to even make a d league team. He is a literal joke. I would not pay him a ham sandwich to play for an entire season.

I've liked Ryan Hollins since he was at UCLA.

Good energy guy.

Ryan Hollins = POB

We should look into getting Aaron Gray because Hollins is like a toothpick and he won't be able to defend Dwight Howard, Shaq, and that was our primary reason to get a big man.
