He shouldn't have been suspended, but neither should Amare and Diaw. However, since Amare was, Garnett should have been too. It was very poor judgment not to suspend him, especially given the conspiracy theory that was popular at the time (Boston vs LA in the final).

What's going on with Kyle Lowry? I'd LOVE to have him as a backup here.

There shouldnt be any suspensions in the playoffs unless its something extreme. Like Posey getting suspended for pushing Hinrich, and those kinds of things are a complete joke suspension wise. And the leaving the bench thing was worse. Theres a difference between standing and walking a couple feet towards the action and getting involved in the action. If Amare and Diaw went into the action and started pushing Horry then I could see the suspension, but getting up and walking a couple feet towards it? Comeon. Teams work hard enough to get to that point in the playoffs and youre going to decide the series over that? They really have to change that rule and change how they look at hard fouls vs intentional fouls that cause suspensions

yeah - I agree completely. It's very stupid to ruin one year's worth of effort just because of a mental mistake.
