Ouch, looks like the team is being run by a replacement coach.

preseason game against one of the best in the league who have been together for 3-4 years. not really a surprising outcome, and lots of positives to talk about. the d needs work, but it will come.

Jay says he wants the Raptors to be a top 10 defensive team.

team still hasn't meshed but that's understandable...defense is still a concern though, the celtics for the most part didn't play that great a game but all of the raps deficiencies made it a lot easier for them for sure.

Less is more. More or less. But mostly less. Or should that be more?

The transition D was especially bad, and that is partly because the offense isn't flowing yet. It was promising enough.

I'm not surprised/worried by the loss. We have a lot of new faces on the team and they are still trying to adjust to each other. I'm keeping my hopes up that they'll only improve from here on.

It's only the preseasons and if the team needs to make mistakes together and learn from them, then the time to make those mistakes are now.

It started out OK, then became a pre-season game.

We finally got to see the starters on the floor together, that was nice. They have quite a bit of work to do, but we saw some encouraging things.
I still want to see what Wright can bring. Hopefully they could at least give him some time with the first unit @ the 2 to see if he works there. Derozan just isn't a good enough shooter yet.

Positives:
1. Bargnani played like a centre in the first half of the game, even got a tech.
2. Bosh and TUrk are in sync.
3. Weems is a good defender.

Negatives.
1. Marco is not taking good threes.
2. Too much confusion on the second unit.
3. defense broke down in the third.

Agreed. We got lots of room to improve. Turk was playing his first minutes with this crew and Bosh/Jose arent quite adjusted either. And team defense should get better once these guys play together more.

Celtics are still scary good and deep. Im happy if we steal one game from them during regular season.

Jose looked a bit better again. Weems continues to look good. Rasho looked dependable.

Bargs was invisible offensively, but got some rebounds. Bellinelli was invisible too.

Hopefully Evans injury wont last more than two weeks.

How many did Toronto take/hit?
It's been a long time since we've had to worry about their ability to hit the outside J.

Here it is: 4 of 11. Including none from our wing players.
