Predict the numbers- Turkoglu/Barbosa

Predict what their numbers will be on their respective new teams this up coming season?

I predict:

Turk- 14.5/4.6apg/5.5rpg

Barbosa- 13.1/4apg/3.5rpg

Thoughts?

Yes, they said he'd likely be the starting PF.

Turkoglu- 12 PPG, 5 RPG, 4 APG

I've always believed 10-11 is his breakout year, but I don't see it happening with Nash on the roster. He handles the ball frequently, so I still see Hedo in the spot up shooting role he dislikes.

Barbosa- 12 PPG, 3.5 APG, 3 RBG

I like his speed and aggressiveness on the break. However, I think he won't be a top-notch scorer like he was a few years ago because of limited minutes (young guns) and limited fast breaks (bad defence, unable to secure rebounds)

Barbosa will get close to 30 minutes imo with 20-25 @ SG.

Him and Derozan will get most of the minutes at SG, he'll also see some burn at PG probably. With Kleiza/Weems getting most of the minutes at SF.

Maybe. It's just that I think we're getting a starting 3 later on this summer. In that case, Triano would play him+Kleiza at the 3, and DeRozan+Weems at the 2. I'm hoping that Barbosa gets significant time at the 1 though, since one of Jack/Calderon would likely be traded.

Who cares, seriously?

Here's the numbers you need to be worried about.

Hedo

10-11 $9,800,000
11-12 $10,600,000
12-13 $11,400,000
13-14 $12,200,000

Barbosa

10-11 $7,100,000
11-12 $7,600,000

Predicting the numbers? Better luck with the lottery...

On a more serious note - WTF is Phoehix thinking?! How is he going to get more "ball" there playing with pure playmakers like Nash and Dragic? How is he going to defend real PFs in the post?

I have no idea what Sarver (or whoever is GMing there these days) were thinking, but tired Turk is going to disappoint in Phoenix. Barbosa could be a disappointment here as well, but at least he hasn't been brought over to replace Bosh.

You seemed obsessed with player's averages.

I don't get it either, but I checked out a Suns board just to see what their fans thought and they are ecstatic to have Hedo...contract and all.

Barbosa's a much better slasher and spot up shooter than Turkoglu. Plus he can actually stay in shape.

OK. Just wanted to see what everyone thought about how these two will do with their new teams.

BTW, already knowing we saved a boat load of money and Turkoglu is gone, why exactly would i worry?
