Raptors First time in Toronto...

Hi,

first post so take it easy on me

I am visiting Toronto from the UK in October & the day I arrive is the day they play a pre season game v Timb Wolves on 9th October!!

Really want to go to this game & wandering if it will be easy for me to buy tickets on the day or do I need to buy them when they go on sale? Are tgese usually sold out games for pre-season??

Just a bit worried I won't get them delivered to the UK and if I can't buy on the day how I will get my hands on the tickets!!

Not sure how it all works as this will be my first NBA game & any help is appreciated!!

Cheers

Pre-season hardly ever sells out. I cannot remember the last pre-season game that did. Maybe in the Vince Carter days?

I would still buy my tickets in advanced though. Ticketmaster will email your tickets to you in a .PDF file. Just print it while in the UK and take the tickets with you to Toronto.

Also, as a precautionary measure you should store the .PDF file or Ticketmaster email containing the .PDF attachment on your phone. Worst case scenario, you lose your printed tickets and you can open/show .PDF file on your phone.

Welcome aboard, Dave.

I concur with all of the above, except I would recommend getting them from our very own Raptorman, if and when he has pre-season tickets for sale.

Raptorman.ca! Toronto Raptor Tickets at a Discount!

LOL this is probably true. But because Dave1983 is coming all the way from the UK I would recommend buying in advance.

I didn't know Raptorman.ca sold pre-season tickets, but if he does...I would definitely go through him.

Raptors

thanks for your replies.. will I be able to turn up an hour or so before the game and buy the tickets at the stadium? Only worry I have is my plane lands at 15:00 so if I were to be unlucky and have a delay on my flight from the uk I would of wasted my money!!

Looking forwar to seeing the Raptors play and hoping I can get my hands on some good merchandise but prefer to not buy from the stadium as I know they always charge more there!!

You should have no problem. Pre-season games don't draw huge crowds. The merchandise at the AAC might be worth checking out. They do have some sale items. And I'm not sure if there's a great source with better prices anywhere.

i can vouch for raptorman as well. I bought tickets off him in the past.

As for merchandise, it's pretty much standard pricing all over the city (if you want current stuff). The stadium won't charge more than other places. There's a few cheapy sports stores around yonge and dundas, but they're not that great and they can be a bit dishonest. For the best selection definitely go to center sports (which is the official team store). It's not at the stadium exactly, it's just outside the arena on the west side.

Hi,

I am from Birmingham UK which is only a hour and half away from bristol

I would happily buy tickets from yourself but I'm more likely to buy tickets on the day just in case I get delayed & wouldn't be able to attend the game & would of wasted my money!!!

Do you know a rough price of the tickets for pre season games!? Any advice as this is my first trip to Toronto & my first NBA game!!!

Thanks for your replies!!

Yep, Real Sports has a ton of stuff. Standard prices, and the odd sale.

I'd also vouch for Raptorman, i've purchased a few pairs from him each year over the past few seasons. They've always been at great prices.

Should you go want to go to the box office, I'm sure there are going to be tickets available. As said, it's preseason.

Raptors Pre season Game 9th October

Hi, I am in Toronto from the UK on the 9th October & planned on attending the pre season game v Timb Wolves .. Just saw a link for ticketmaster advertising tickets Ticketmaster - Promotions and this game isn't on the list?

Is this game still on? I need to buy my tickets from the ticket office as I don't land until 15:00 so incase of delays I'm not going to pre-book!!

Can anyone advise what time the ticket office is open until the game starts? I believe it starts at 19:00 but not sure on that either!?

Any help is appreciated

Cheers

Guys, I have a feeling this game will be FREE.

The official Facebook page for the Raptors responded that they "have a special announcement about that game next week" when someone asked about why tix are not for sale.
