Atlanta has a hellish schedule for the second half of the season. I can't see them hanging on for a top 4 seeding.

I love how we always get shit on when it comes to the first few months of our schedule, yet the best teams in the league always get the easy starts so they can go on extended streaks to start the season while teams like to on to can start off on the wrong foot

There is an upside - IF the team can get over that hump, they have a much easier time making the playoffs with a decent seed, while being able to withstand late season injury and fatigue more so than if the schedule was reversed. The issue is the Raps always have so much roster turnover that they just get destroyed by the tough early schedule.

I'm pretty sure Miami has the easiest schedule because they don't have to play Miami 4 times a season. :reporter:

Hawks have no chance with Horford being out for the season. We have to remain consistent though, or brooklyn will catch us. They have been stealing some wins of late.

Its true. Last year, that hump completely destroyed us putting us in a hole that was way to deep to climb out of. This year we got rid of that other disadvantage named Gay and have lunged over that hump quite nicely. If we continue this play, beating lesser teams the way we played Washington, then it will be scary to see how we do going into the playoffs.

I wouldn't be too concerned with Brooklyn. Williams ankles are nearing the same level as Roy's Knees...hes down again with yet another sprain and without him, the Nets are pretty garbage....

Dangerous thinking. They could sit him against the Hawks because the Hawks are banged up, and they'll probably sit him against the Heat on Friday, but they want him ready for Saturday against us because it's an intra-division game.

Saturday's game is a huge game for us.

If the Nets decide to sell, I'd love to get AK off of them. Now, that's a starting SF who'd be huge for this team.

Will be interesting to see what CLE can do now with Deng there.

They have one 3 in a row, including a huge win in OKC. I wouldn't count them out right now.. They won last night without Williams in the lineup. I believe if any team catches us in the atlantic it will be them.

SF was their big weakness - it's why I was sure they would be a player in the Gay sweepstakes (that was before his terrible start though). It will be interesting to see how they do - he's a very good player, but will his heart be in the game away from the Bulls? Will he be as effective without Thibs' system around him defensively? Interesting to say the least.

Probably not, but no Bynum makes Cle a winner even if its just a rental. And he will miss Thib's system.

I'd love AK47 on the Raps too but it's not happening. Brooklyn are in it to do their best to at least make the playoffs.

Man he was just absolutely awful most of last night. I don't know that I would touch AK with a 10' pole right now. I know Kidd can't love him.

The man is an ultimate team player and can be awesome on defence. At his current price, I'd go for it.

I thought AK looked great a few games ago - and not to bad in last night's first half. Great defender, great passer. I think he's a big reason why they're starting to win some games.
