lol, ok, he only beat Jose once or twice... he only had 24/10/8, obviously we did a stellar job on him. I need to pay better attention. He was shut down. He didnt get shooters all kinds of open looks and create havoc by breaking down Jose anytime he felt like it.

Boards have nothing to do with Jose's defense.

Parker has his way driving past every PG in the league(scored 20 on Paul-all of drives,29 on Kidd-on all drives, 18 on Billups-all off drives) Jose's no different, thats one of the things that makes SA good

I guess it's time to watch a game on tv, the boxscore can be funny sometimes ...

I know he was sick, im just saying it was a big part of our loss, our inability to control Parker whatsoever, and everybody is only bringing up Mason and Bonner, they only got open looks due to Parker creating or rebounds.

Seriously though, Jose does a really horrible job of fighting through screens.

Maybe Ukic or Solomon can help him oout and show him how to do it.

That being said maybe he was afraid of crapping himself on the floor.

So true, i must have had another channel where parker was controling the pace of the game, setting up ppl at will, scoring whenever he wanted, and we had no answer, no early doubles, no adjustment, we just said hey, you want a triple double? Here's Jose 1v1.

Meh .... I have no clue why we're complaining at this loss. It's San Antonio for heaven sakes.

I don't understand Bosh at the moment i think he has developed too much of an ego and has become way to confident in his own abilities rather than playing team basketball

And maybe he can teach them both how to take care of the ball and shoot!

Coincidence that really good teams get their PG to break us down, and hit 5billion treys on us? Do you think they may know Jose will always need help and there will always be an open look? We need to plug this hole in w/e way possible, Triano needs to make an adjustment or it will literally happen every time

Surely you've heard of this great new system we have.

It's called how to make the lottery.

Parker is averaging 20.5, 3rpg and 6.8apg per game.

The horror he got 24 points tonight against Jose, we should all wait for the team plane at the airport and stone Jose to death. The nerve allowing TP to score an extra 4 points over his season average, oh and 3 extra assists as well. Jose really sucks and the rest of the team was missing rebounds, missing shots, and not guarding their man all because of Jose.

Albeit he hasn't stepped it up lately, but in his own defense his supporting cast have done nothing to make his job easier either. Let's face it, we don't have the depth or consistency from others to be a team that can be taken seriously.

bosh is what he always was - a jump shooter with a quickness advantage over slower PFs. He's probably a top 5 PF in the league and maybe a top 25 player in the whole league. When he had a string of good performances, some people made him to be a MVP type of player, which he never was, and probably never will be. If this team adds one or two good pieces, his game will improve a lot. However, he is not that rare player who can carry a team by itself.

While MVP type of guards carry the team with scorin, MVP type of big men can only carry their team with defense, which is his weak point. Bosh, like Jose, can be crucial pieces in a championship team, but it needs to be a team constructed like Detroit, with quality players at all positions. Asking Bosh or Jose to carry this team is unreasonable, so it's not their fault when they can't.

However, the problem with Bosh is that he will ask for MVP type of money in 2010, and I can't really justify that.

no, we were 8-9. We were 8-7 after the win against Atlanta, and then we lost two in a row (LA and Denver). Sam was fired after that ... not that it matters
