Pretty harsh for our second best defender tonight. In fact he's had 7 blocks in the last 2 games. And as for tonight, only Marion was better on defence.

What screws with me is how Scola has a game like that. Is he really that much smarter than our bigs? 'Cause I don't think he's more athletic.

heh, ya, 24-7

pretty much what Bargnani, the 23 year old 7 footer on an amazing learning curve is jackin up for the last 6 weeks or so.

24-7 seems like fair admiration to me.

And abot 2 blocks, and a few steals.

hmm.

D. Wade, MIA 29.2 5 rebs
2 L. James, CLE 28.5 7 rebs
3 K. Bryant, LAL 28.0 5.6 rebs
4 K. Durant, OKC 26.0 6.6 rebs
5 D. Nowitzki, DAL 25.2 8.3 rebs
6 D. Granger, IND 25.0 5 rebs

There the only guys doing any better this year.

Probably about time you eased off the kid a bit Doc, he looks to be moving in the right direction to me.

So, Andrea's only measuring tool on whether or not he's playing great defense is how many blocks he had in the last 2 games? I'm sorry, but he was a pylon this evening, but just as much as Bosh. His help defense is horrendous and was extremely passive on many occasions tonight. I guess we have different opinions on great defense.

I'm not saying that's the only measure, but he was our 2nd best defender tonight. And is probably our 3rd best defender overall, after Marion and AP (when he decides to play). But if you're convinced, nothing i'll say matters.

Just throwing it out there, but I think the team would be best moving Bosh for a defensive C with a decent post game. Bargnani can easily defend a 4, and is a match-up nightmare as always. Then improve our starting SG and do whatever will fit at the 3 (Marion or whomever...I dream of Marvin Williams). It's a lot of pieces to move, but I think it is present and future oriented. My opinion might be different if I thought Bosh was at all interested in returning.

I agree. I still think that the deal i mentioned last week would be great.

Bosh (sign-trade)/Cash/Delfino or Graham

for

Biedrins/Ellis/Wright

Jose
Ellis
Marion
Bargs
Biedrins

bosh had his usual 4th qtr nothingness while Bargs was ignored as usual but the reason we lost was 3-11, 1-8, and 2-9 courtesy of Krapono, AP and Joey.
