Clippers POST GAME: Toronto Raptors 90 - Los Angeles Clippers 94

Even though we lost I'm liking what I see from James Johnson. I'm sold on this guy, he is worlds better than Harrison Barnes. He plays defense, can score, rebound, create for himself and teammates... call me crazy but he is similar to Lebron James in the sense he can do everything on the court.

If he was similiar to LBJ, the Bulls wouldn't have tried to get the actual LBJ there in the offseason.

Davis' best stat line of his career so far. 40 min, 21 and 11, 3 assists, 1 steal, 8-11 FG

thats exactly what I was thinking lebron minus the speed and explosiveness even though johnson can jump it doesn't seem like he's getting that high off the ground.

I like JJ, and his impact so far has been palpable, but Harrison Barnes can be a very special player. No basketball brain trust, in their collective right mind, would take a pass on him because James Johnson is already in town. Barnes is a stellar defender, a productive rebounder, and his J is already 'worlds' better than Johnson's. In other words, he's the perfect fit beside Demar because he can spread the floor. Having both Johnsons as options off the bench is ideal imo.

Was Bargs benched tonight or just injured? Not that I really missed him.... just curious is all.

I liked how the guys competed tonight. Couldn't hold on due to a lack of star power but Johnson and Davis were bright spots.

"Injured". Bone spurs in his ankle, supposedly.

Wow. Johnson is a role player, bordering on scrub. He hasnt proven anything. Comparing him to Lebron and saying he'd be better on the team than a top 3 pick is just, well, wow.

Overreactionary Raptors Post #19283774774. This almost tops when BJJS was saying Omar Cook was the next big thing and he'd overtake Jose years ago.

When James Johnson got here, I just thought he was some scrub. Glad to see he's proved me wrong.

Davis seems to do well in a match-up vs Griffin.

How is Johnson a scrub? And I'm pretty sure he didn't mean he is on the same level as Lebron, he is just more versatile then most players...

The Lebron comparison is ridiculous but you have a history of being VERY hard on role players Thrills.

Johnson is young... but he has potential. He's versatile, scrappy and plays solid defense (did pretty damn well against Durant). Pretty far from a "scrub" IMO. I think that we have to re-define that term.... Will Solomon = scrub. lol.

Ajince = scrub

Aruajo = scrub

Graham = scrub

I wouldn't even call David Anderson a scrub.
