I won't even talk about making this trade or that, or acquire this guy or that guy. JAY TRIANO MADE A HUGE MISTAKE OF SUBSTITUTING SOLOMAN DURING A CRUCIAL PERIOD WHERE BLAZERS WERE ON A RUN

Is Batum's name actually pronounced Bay-toom? I thought it was more like Bay-tom.

Oh, yeah. And the Raps kind of blow.

We played a good game. That half court shot though killed us. We were up big and it brought them right back. You could see it in the second half, we looked defeated right at that moment.

Tough loss to a good team. Also, I like Greg Oden, but jeez, you gotta call some of those grabs he was doing on him.

good play in the first half, bad play in the second.
well, Portland has only lost 3 times at home this season and they're definitely a better team than the Raps. our whole team would have to be in full effect to win this.

Solomon is a waste of a roster spot. That is all.

As I said in the pregame:

Quote:
You want to beat Portland Triano? Play zone late in the 4th so they cant go 1-4 with Roy isolations and kill us.
The Mavs beat em doin this and we just let him go buckwild. We made one soft double team attempt at halfcourt with Bosh and then one almost double attempt with Bosh at the elbow, the first resulting in a Aldridge jumper and the second in Blakes easy runner.

If you want to beat Portland in a close game you need to know what the fuck youre doing on offence and either zone Roys side forcing him into help or just zoning it so he cant toy with you for 10 seconds then splash it in your face.

This loss is on Triano.

wait why can't we blame this on Triano...since we all knew what Soloman brought to the table.

I mean I like Triano fine and everything but I just don't get why he doesn't play Ukic instead of Solomon? Seriously, did Roko do/say something?
