On the bright side, despite missing key players, we've been close in all these losses. If we get a good slasher this summer, this team can have a major jump in # wins. Whoever gets to coach next year will end up coach of the year ...

Parker played amazing. I think he was one assist and one rebound away from a triple double

I say we keep sucking and pick up Curry in the draft.

As depleted as we are, ATL is just about the same, missing 2 major contributors, you need to win these kind of games

FUCK THIS TEAM. Ugh. Waste of my Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
-----------

My thoughts:

-This was an absolutely embarrassing loss. The Hawks are in a dreadful funk right now, having only beaten the Clippers and the struggling Rockets in the past month or so. I've watched pretty much every game this year, and I keep asking myself, why do I bother? They just can't put the pieces together.
---------

Positives: Bargnani is playing better and better. In the past 15 games, he's learned how to box out properly! He boxes out better than Bosh does (but he's still nowhere near as good at getting 50/50 balls or rebs in traffic). Bargnani is playing the matchups and taking advantage of smaller defenders.
-Parker is rolling like he was when we were a 47-35 team.
-Bosh is playing like a really good hustle player for us
-Jamario is playing GREAT D at times. Then he becomes a bonehead in the clutch and bites on pump fakes of Mike Fucking Bibby!
-Roko can score. He's an energizer. His rookieness hurts (costly turnovers at the worst time) but he's shown nice promise as an energy scoring PG off the bench.

Negatives:
-Trade Kapono now please! He hits some 3s. Unfortunately he travels, turns the ball over, and plays the worst D this side of Nash and Calderon. He's just dreadful. His +/- is atrocious
-Bosh is not playing like a franchise player at all. He's playing like an overachieving role player. He's like Odom++, or Gasol. Not bad but not really all-star level. His D is especially bad.
-Our PG situation is a mess right now. Calderon, please come back!
-Voskuhl - NEVER shoot again!
-Jamario, you're not the fucking star of this team, stop jacking important shots in crunch time.

---------

After this game, I feel, the only way this season is salvageable is:

-Either get O'Neal back healthy, or trade for Marion.
-Calderon must be healthy
-If we have Marion, then Jamario becomes an energizer off the bench who plays solid D. If not, then O'Neal should be our energy off the bench, unless we dare to try the Bosh-Bargnani-O'Neal trio again.
-Kapono becomes expendable.

Last thing we need is another defenseless jumpshooter

Hoping for Jrue Holiday

Definitely. A guy scoring 5.8 points a game at 41% on on open looks from the best PG in the game will be a huge boost to our team.

calderon is very important to us, he's almost like lebron to the cavs. Not because he's quite that good, but because of what's behind him. If roko or will don't have a great day, it's hard to ask them to play full time PG in NBA. Just look at how many TOs we had over the past 10 games, we've always been in the low 12s in number of TOs, that was our main strength, and the reason we won despite not rebounding well. Without that advantage, it becomes almost impossible.

Guys, debate and argue all you like, but please grow-up. These petty insults are beyond ridiculous now. I realize we're all frustrated, but cut the bullshit with name-calling and insults.

This from the guy who predicted 50 wins and Triano getting COTY this year. But he can still win for improving in Hollinger's rankings!

Even with Jose we fucking suck. He doesnt change anything when hes pulling the ball out on 3 on 2s and taking jumpshots all game and getting his fake assists. Comparing his impact to Lebron is an absolute joke.

His impact is that of Steve Blake of Portland, but at least Blake plays defence and hits big shots.
