Well, obviously, the majority of us aren't thinking about the future. Their thinking about the present. If I were Nets fans thinking about the present, I'd be on the brink of insanity. For one their 0-13. If I'm a free agent, I stay as far away from the Nets as I can, Jay-Z or not. And when are they scheduled to move to Brooklyn again? Or fire Lawrence Frank? I'd give Frank another 5 games to get a win before hes canned.

Atleast the Raps have an All-Star, jump-shooter or not, and very good supporting cast. What were you guys seriously expecting at the start of the season? For us to be the Boston Celtics of 2007? Please...

Many of you are forgetting that we have one of the toughest schedules in the NBA so far. We're not far off .500. I'd say thats pretty good for a team with 9 new faces.

Ya, I'll give em that, but still, you'd think they could atleast beat the Knicks...

Again, the Nets have one of the best young centers in the league, a stud PG, and a good young SG in Lee. They also have a good GM, and people seem to like Jay-Z; including Lebron. Not to mention, a potential Russian playboy owner willing to spend, spend, spend, and relocate the team to Brooklyn. If the Nets make the right moves this summer, their future should be bright.

Im officially on board in trading for Monta Ellis.

Random comment of the day by me. Get that penetrating PG in here may really get this boat back on the shore.

My God.... lol.... STEP BACK FROM THE LEDGE!!!!

Probably the worst Raptor game this season so far.

More than anything else it was just a horrible lack of EFFORT.... which was disappointing to say the least.

That being said I thought that Tyson Chandler made all the difference in the world for them out there. Ditto for Jackson. Ditto for Wallace. Sort of a perfect storm for CHA tonight.

One thing's for sure.... all of the people who think that this game is won with pretty boys shooting 3s should take a good hard look at what players like Wallace and Marion and Battier bring to the table on a nightly basis. Because it's EXACTLY what this team needs right now.

It's safe to say that this team won't be THIS horrible on a nightly basis (they haven't been) but it is a cause for concern.

I will officially eat crow on that one.

I didn't think that he'd be anywhere near this good after his surgery.... but he looks even BETTER.

If we can't steal Chris Paul from NOH then Ellis is the next best thing.

Bargs & Jack for Ellis and filler?

I'm on that, but as his value vaults, it seems like our potential trade bait's value plummets haha...

Our concern should be our starting lineup isnt athletic, quick, smart, or aggressive enough on defence especially. BC is trying to create this euroball style and its pathetic and charmin soft. You cant have two sivs at point and in the middle. Its as simple as that. Bosh/Bargs is only going to work if you have a really good defensive backcourt with a guy who can really slow down stars. With the lineup they have out there theyre just gonna keep getting exposed inside and vs quick athletic perimeter guys. You cant build a team like BC has and expect to go anywhere.

We've added some nice bench pieces but the core is off. We need a presence in the middle like Pryzbilla or Haywood, and a penetrating PG.

Agreed 100%.

Another guy that would have done this team wonders (and a guy that I've been wanting for YEARS now) is Jamison. He's not a defensive juggernaut by any means but he's >>>>>>>>>> Hedo. Just does so many little things to make his team win. WAS is already looking miles better with him in the lineup.

"Honestly, I can't say there was anything wrong with our coverages, other than 41 transition points," said Jay Triano, the Raptors coach. "That's an awful lot of transition points.

"There's no defence for that, other than just getting back."
