Is there a record for the most times a team gives up 120 points in a season?

I fear the Raps may have already broken it...

DeRozan was the best player in the game but I didn't see the game so I can't come to that judgment

allowing 130 points again
you have to physically try to make a team score that many points a number of times already this season

I watched the game now
the interior defense was bad and the Raps gave Denver a free pass to the key, passes were too easy and limited help defense
also, too many fast break/1 on 1 opportunities

Nuggets were taking too many outside shots in the first half but played an interior oriented offense allowing for more points in the paint and open shots in the 2nd half.
Who was going to stop them, Bargnani? Bosh

I thought the Nuggets played the perfect game. They smothered Bosh in the paint so he couldn't get going and forced the ball out to get beat in the perimeter. On offense they were getting tons of easy buckets. Interior D non extistent as usual for raps and interior offense almost non exsitent.

All in all you don't allow 62% shooting.

Ummmm.... why?

Beause he couldn't find a way to beat a team that was clearly superior to ours? When we were missing our 2nd best player?

We started really well though. They couldn't really penetrate and we forced them to take jumpshots. Yeah, JR nailed threes and Melo did his thing, but it was working decently well.

Then something happened after half where the whole thing just unraveled.

Just what exactly does a coach on a Toronto team need to do to get fired? It's hideous.

This game was lost psychologically, not by the talent Denver presented.

They lost because they let the refs affect their ability to play and didn't adapt.

They lost because they saw JR Smith and 'Melo scoring at will and not being mentally tough enough to defend them ever harder.

But I will say this, when this team is firing on all cylinders and moving the ball and not getting demoralized, they look really, really good. And there's enough spurts of defense that encourage me to think that's it's still very much a work in progress but can work if consistency develops.

When we were up 11 last night without Turk or Evans... I thought we could compete for a championship this year.

Then reality hit me in the face.

Defense fell apart in the 2nd half. We played defense like the Magic play offense. Everything was a 3 or dunk/lay-up.

I also think it's no coincidence Bosh's first bad game came without Hedo. It's not so much the lack of playmaking from Turk that hurt, as much as the lack of spacing with Wright and Sonny at the 3. Made it much too easy to collapse on him. I would've played a Jose/Bellinelli combo almost the whole game to make up for the lack of Hedo. But from now on it'd be nice to have a 14th or 15th man who can at least hit 3s, instead of the rather needless POB on the bench.

I loved the true contesting of shots to start things off. But with Wright wonky and Bargnani slow while they remain a bit thin up front, the nice start wasn't going to be enough. This game was Denver's to lose, and they chose not to. And the refs helped them make that decision a little easier.

He doesn't know how to make adjustments.... In the third quarter, it was dribble penetration leading to a layup or dunk. He still thinks the calderon-jack lineup is effective.
