The problem was that once Bosh got the ball KG had retreated a bit and given him space, but then he was standing straight up and off balance. KG's defense really was brilliant more than Bosh was lacking.

100000000% a legal move Ugo.

You're allowed your space, and you are allowed to clear it out in that position.

Ive never seen brutal elbow when 2 guys were face to face that wasnt called a foul with an ejection and ive played ball most of my life and was on one of the best HS teams in the city. I know techinally you are supposed to have your space, but if somebody does like KG does to you and you literally swing your elbows at his face, the play will not just go on regardless. You are also asking Bosh to be something he isnt, your acting like this elbow to KGs mouth happens all the time, thats why he backs down on ppl? I want to see these blatent elbows to ppl's faces that the ref is clearly looking at go uncalled, im sure theres video footage somewhere. I get your point, but you seriously cant do that, you just shouldnt stand up straight like a moron and let a guy dig in on you like that, if Chris just bends over in a basketball dribbling position KG wont get cock to cock on him.

As long as he pivots with the elbow, it's all good. Swing the elbows without pivoting is a foul.

thank you bj.

the other mov e I like is the Kobe special, just go straight up and into him hard with a jumper and catch him in the teeth with your elbow on the way up. Not only can ya bust his lip and remove a molar, he will get a foul and put ya on the line.

Their is no doubt about it in my mind, that the officials are waiting on Bosh in those situations to take matters into his own hands and throw the bow.

the effect would be resounding.

Garnett minus some teeth, Bosh, with a game in Street clothes.

Message sent around the league, Bosh ain't your punching bag no more.

I know some guys don't like this, however, it works for bigs. Shaq had to do it, Howard will soon, it's not a bad thing, you really do have to push the envelpoe in that league because they just aren't gonna give you a damn thing.

You don't need the refs respect if you intend to just jack up 17 footers, but then, you'll never ever win that way. Bosh takes it to the hole a lot, and he is getting calls, but if he wants to get THE calls, he has to take matters into his own hands and make people see whats happening.

As for Garnetts praise for Bosh, he's a clever bastard he is. Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. Think he's gonna give Bosh the fuel he neds to get to where he will be unguardable for Garnett, hell no. He's just gonna keep saying how tough he is, how "bad" he is, then when they play, he's gonna keep giving him the "fresh fish" treatment. Hell even Powe is in on the act now, it's gotton that bad. Powe full on tackled Bosh's head when he took it in on one play, he missed with the arm tha would have killed him, and refs called dick all but a foul. The Celtics have created an aura around them, the stuff they do is accepted by officials, so if you wanna beat them, you best learn to join um, or else when it's crunchtime, and you need that call, and deserve that call, it ain't coming.

Please don't misconstrue my comments ok, I love CB4, he's a great guy it would appear, he's a damn hard worker, and he brings it, some things are obvious though, and these are his next conquests on his way to becomming truly great at what he does.

Time to add "HARD" to the rep.

Any intentional elbow is called a foul, read the NBA rulebook. If you are smart enough to make it look unintentional then i guess go for it. Regardless of the position of the person, they could be cheek to cheek with you ANY intentional elbow will be called and you will get booted. It still might get the point across to other players in the future i guess. You guys are acting like this happens all the time, players getting elbowed in the face... you think KG is the only player that invades ppl's space?? Also called playing good D.

Every basketball camp I went to as I kid straight up to playing college basketball you are told to keep the ball high and elbows out. It was always called pivot and rock it. Even Coach Armstrong brought it up during the game, it was a flash of the past.Hello.........!

Im not saying you arent allowed to pivot with your elbows, im saying if Bosh did it at that moment with KG in his face and it was obvious it was intentional to clock him in the mouth, believe me, it gets called, again, show me some video evidence of this happening recently. Oh it doesnt?

Mostly that technique is used for rebounding btw, you cant just start pivoting with your elbows ready to KO somebody everytime somebody tries to play tight D on you man on man...

I broke my nose twice before from defending people too close when they were trying to clear out.

No one stopped, we just kept going. Legal and respectable move.

I learned my lesson, hah!

Clearing out after a board is alot different then manning somebody up 1v1, as i said ive seen it happen after boards with no call, but if a man is coming up to guard you when you have the ball on offense, ive never seen this happen, somebody should find a youtube vid or something recently to shut me up

Bosh likes being popular among other stars in the league.
He likes hugging after and before games.

What other people think of him is important to Chris Bosh.

I really like Bosh as a person and as a player. I bought his jersey.
there are some parts of his character that won't change though (unfortunately).

Shaq and Mutomobo did it all the time. Shaq perfected it to an art form actually.

And even if it does get called as an intentional foul I wouldn't care. It would teach KG that every time he gets that close to me (Bosh) he's losing at least a couple of teeth and visiting the dentist. Trust me, he wouldn't do it again.

I agree Claud, it would get called tho and he would prob get booted but the message would be sent, again tho, you guys are asking Chris to be something he isnt, JT knows he isnt that, send Jake out for a couple min, whisper "stop fucking with Chris" in KGs ear and deliver the elbow. Believe me, he will get the message that way loud and clear aswell, and losing Jake for a game or 10 wont hurt that bad :P
